Zen Head Spa

It was so relaxing and peaceful. I have very long thick hair and I know that can be a lot for the person doing the service. We had a quick consult and she put my mind at ease. Everything worked out great and I will be back.

I flew into Arizona early December and made a special trip to treat myself at Zen Head Spa. This was the most amazing experience I have had at a spa and well worth the money! I cannot describe with words how amazing this spa treatment was. The staff was amazing and the spa treatment was out of this world. I make multiple trips to Arizona a year and Zen Head Spa is on my list to visit from now on! I highly recommend this spa to anyone! Book a spa day now!

The service itself was AMAZING. The girls who worked on us were gentle and attentive and thorough and knew what they were doing, it was super relaxing, the atmosphere was great. But I probably won’t come back because I paid the highest amount for a 2 hour service. When I got the confirmation email it said “thanks for confirming your 1 hour 45 minute service.” I immediately called and was like I paid for 2 hours? And the owner explained that they meant to change it on the website, it’s actually a 1 hour 45 now. Which I wasn’t really happy about, but whatever. We got to the place, I was about 15 minutes late because I rushed there after work and traffic was bumper to bumper and extended the time it took to get there. I felt terrible for making them wait. After I got changed and laid on the table it was maybe 25 minutes after the time I was supposed to start which is my fault 100%. But I still expected the service to end at the same time it would have, which is 3:45. When we were done and off the table it was only 3:30. So we still got stiffed for like 15 minutes at least. I told the owner afterwards, and she gave some excuse about how the girl had to leave and the products need to stay on your face a certain amount of time or something which didn’t make sense to me because I paid for a certain amount of time. She took off $20 and apologized, but the 1 hour 15 minute service is $70 less than the one I paid for. And now after the fact, I realize other people in reviews have complained about being shorted on time. So the owner knows about it and does this anyway. I’m super annoyed because I spent about $500 total. That’s a lot of money for me and I was going out on a limb to treat myself after a rough few months. Maybe I should have read the reviews first.

100000/10!!!!! I first want to say my review would have been 2-3 stars as the first person who did my treatment, Luisa, didn’t do a great job. However, the manager, Becky, went WAY out of her way to fix it for me and redid my treatment on her own time. It was THE most relaxing experience and I will definitely be back! Amazing customer service and an amazing treatment. We are lucky a head spa like this exists in Phoenix! I did the $115 Tranquil Head Spa treatment.

I am giving three stars for a few different reasons. This was my first experience and although it was very wonderful, there are a few things that I was a little unhappy about my husband purchased me the tranquil package, which says it includes a scalp analysis which was not performed. Also states that you’ll change into a robe. I was not asked to change into a robe however, two other people walked in after me and were changed into a robe. I did not like how everybody’s next to each other, but it was still very peaceful and quiet. The lady who did my head spa was absolutely amazing. It was very relaxing and I do feel like that part was worth it. I would definitely go back. I just didn’t like that. It seemed as if they pick and choose who got a robe and who Didn’t and also just didn’t like that everybody’s next to each other

I had a bad experience at another head spa (crown and bliss) so this was my redo. Maria was everything I wanted and more. She was kind and helpful she told me about all the products when I asked about them. Best scalp, face, neck, and shoulder massage I've ever had. I literally want to come in everytime I need my hair washed. I took a very serine nap and then the blow dry station after??? Omg. You must try the scalp serum. I already bought some it was a life changer for sure. Thank you Maria for the amazing redo. I will only go to you guys from now on. You made my whole month!!

I've been twice so far and it's always leave feeling relaxed and at peace. Thank you to Maria for doing both of my spas! Also, bring a hair clip to put your hair up after!

This place is absolutely gorgeous and suuuuper zen. A very relaxing atmosphere. My head massage therapist was Anna. She was so gentle and has such a calming energy. I got the tranquility package which includes a face massage. I HIGHLY recommend treating yourself to this particular package and to see Anna, she will take excellent care of you. Thanks girl!! I will be back!!
