Today I had a bad experience at this spa. My sister and I scheduled a spa day together. When we arrived the therapist took my sister right back for her appointment. I waited and then was told that my massage therapist didn’t show up and wasn’t answering her phone. They could possibly give me another service but that therapist had a migraine but was still willing to do it. I declined and said I would wait for my sister to finish and then do my hydrotherapy appointment that we had scheduled for after the massages. The lady who broke the news to me, I believe she was a manager, said she would comp the hydrotherapy for me. I thanked her, spent an hour in the silent room and then met my sister for an hour of hydrotherapy. When I was leaving, I was charged for the hydrotherapy. I reminded her that my therapist didn’t show and she said she would comp it. She then said oh no I meant you could have an extra hour for free. I was disappointed because I was very kind about the whole situation and felt lied to. They should have followed through and given a complimentary hydrotherapy. Anyway, I paid and left. I wanted a relaxing day, not a confrontation. It was a wasted Spring Break day for this teacher!

Really good customer service. Everyone was very helpful. However, the actual facilities are underwhelming. Apparently when I went the boiler was under repair and so there was no hot water. I don't think this would change my opinion of the hydrotherapy very much, however the front desk did give everyone a significant discount as an apology. The sauna was not very hot and seemed to lose heat quickly with people entering and leaving. The cold pool was not very cold. Felt around 80 Fahrenheit. The steam room also did not get very steamy and lost lots of steam quickly with people entering and exiting. While i was there other guests were complaining that there was no eucalyptus smell in the steam room when there supposedly usually is.

Me and my husband recently had the pleasure of visiting this spa, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The customer service was exceptional—every staff member greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcomed. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in good hands. The spa itself is beautifully designed, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere that set the tone for a rejuvenating visit. The massage treatment was exactly what I needed. The therapist was skilled and attentive, checking in throughout to ensure I was comfortable. I left feeling completely refreshed and deeply relaxed. It’s clear that the staff here genuinely care about creating an exceptional experience for every guest. We ended up signing up for the membership, because we're definitely looking forward to coming back again! Highly recommend this spa to anyone looking to unwind and indulge in a truly top-notch treatment!

I was not impressed with the service at this spa. Now the Massage therapist was amazing but the front desk was not friendly. When I finished my massage I had hydrotherapy. Nobody showed me where to go even though it was my first time there. I had a locker but nobody told me about it. I feel like the staff is the same level of a low quality spa but the massage therapist was up to par with expectation. I will not be getting services at this spa again in the future.

I try to only write positive reviews here, but I have given this spa so many chances and want to love it, but just cannot go back. I had a membership for many years, but dropped that after a few bad experiences. I still went occasionally hoping it would improve, but the last at least six times I have been over the past few years it has become so much more expensive, hydrotherapy is no longer included, and now on at least 5 occasions I have had massages in rooms next to people talking at full volume for the duration of the massage - the adjacent therapist clearly making no effort to reduce the volume of their conversation, and management not willing to do anything remedy the experience. The Kirkland location is unfortunately the same. It genuinely feels like you’re getting a $50 dollar massage, but paying $210. Please don’t waste your money.

Thank you Kathy for the 5 star deep tissue massage today! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have visited yuan a handful of times over the years, seeing no one in particular and it’s always a good massage but today’s really stood out. Docked a star because the facility is really small compared to totem lake, and is starting to feel a little dated. Also wish they included hydrotherapy with all services seeing as they only have hot/cold tub and steam/sauna.

Got the scalp&hair massage but it turned out something different from what I thought. The description on its website was a bit confusing. The masseuse was nice so I left a good tip. However, I had to leave this place with my hair being greasy after the hair massage because they didn’t offer shower or locker for customers who didn’t use their hydro services (I don’t remember the exact name). I spent more than $200 for the massage I got but I didn’t feel like I was treated equally as others.

I’ve been going to Yuan for years and it’s really gone down hill. They used to offer hydrotherapy with every treatment, but they ended that. And now they don’t even offer access to the lockers with your treatment. The massage itself was good. But once I’m done with the gift cards I have, I don’t think I’ll be returning because the price doesn’t really reflect the value, imo.
