I’ve seen Shubha several times for facials and she is incredibly talented at her profession. Not only does she transform my face into a glowing, baby skin smooth surface, she takes the time to educate you on areas of improvement, such as at home care and avoiding sun damage (like a dentist and flossing, you can’t lie to your esthetician about whether or not you’re using sunscreen - they know!!). She also is great at gently pushing other services, like eyebrow threading (she is an absolute expert at this as well, I can hardly feel a thing when she does it), eyebrow tinting, micro blading, etc. I sometimes have a hard time relaxing, but when I get a facial by Shubha, I often slip into moments of brief sleep and intense calm. It’s not only a service for your skin, but also a positive for your mental health. The rooms at Xenana are absolutely gorgeous as well, so that definitely helps create a warm and serene vibe. My first appointment at Xenana Spa was for a prenatal massage... And let me tell you, it was top 10 best experiences of my life. They have a special pregnancy pillow/support cushion that made getting comfortable (when I was a million pounds and swollen) so easy. The massage had me in tears as it was the best I had felt in my entire pregnancy... I was hooked... Now that I am 2.5 years postpartum, I still return at least once every quarter because they are THAT GOOD. I can't rave about this place enough. They are warm, welcoming, communicative and very attentive to needs. If I could give this a 10 out of 5 stars I would.

I first went to Xenana for pre-natal massage right after they opened back in 2008. Fast forward to a new phase of life and Shuba has been an absolute life-saver for my perimenopausal skin. She's the most skilled aesthetician I've ever been to, and I feel so grateful that my mom introduced me to her after experiencing similarly amazing results with Shuba's facials.

Shubha is amazing. She is kind, caring, and inclusive. I've experienced her highly skilled brow threading and her attention to detail always amazes me. My brows have never looked better. When I really need a treat I spoil myself with a facial from her. Shubha uses her years of experience and her gentle touch to transport you to a level of relaxation and refreshment that can't accurately be described. Whatever your skincare needs are Shubha is the girl to see!

I know of this place because of Shubha (facialist at Xenana) I haven't had a facial in a long time, one is overdue, but if I were to get one, it would only be with Shubha. Attn pregnant mamas: must go here! Went at 32 weeks and i was in awe that this was the most comfortable and at ease i had been my entire pregnancy. Just the positioning alone is 5/5 but Jennifer’s massage was an added bonus! Well worth every penny. Had gone to at least four other prenatal massage places before this and nowhere else comes close.
