Woodhouse Spa - SouthPark

I absolutely love Woodhouse. I want to leave a review as a person of significant size. Please take that into consideration when viewing the overall score. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been to this particular location. I filled out the questionnaire prior to my appointment and stated that I would prefer a robe size 26 to 28 for my comfort. I did not receive an inquiry a call and email anything to make sure that they had what I needed. Upon our arrival, my wife and I were given robes upon the third attempt the receptionist advised she could give me a blanket to cover myself. I really think that this is a missed opportunity for Woodhouse. There was no issue with the demeanor or the way in which the staff offered a solution, outside of not calling ahead to clarify. I also think that it would be nice for them to have a couple larger robes on hand. Fat people also appreciate luxurious experiences and are willing to pay top dollar for them. Parking is easy and convenient. There are several rooms. All of the rooms contain massage tables that are sturdy enough for people of any and all size. And I would say majority of people should be able to fit very easily into any of the tubs. All around Woodhouse is a beautiful experience, I would agree with most of the commentary from the other reviews. Again, my goal and focus with this review is to alleviate any concerns or answer questions for someone Infini- fat, super plus, or just concerned about being accommodated :)

I came to experience the spa with a friend for my bday treatment and we both chose the signature package. We got to relax in a very luxurious space before our pampering treatments. The care and detail that goes into the space is quite impressive. The unexpected icing on the cake was a thoughtful and kind gesture from the generous owner and my beloved lash and brow client of many years, Leann! She made this birthday special and unforgettable!

I spent my birthday at The Woodhouse Spa and the experience was a 10/10. The spa is very beautiful and relaxing. The staff were also very welcoming. I’ll definitely be returning!

Woodhouse Spa nails it every time. I have been to 2 of their other locations in South Carolina and loved those. When choosing a spa, it sometimes seems that you have to pick between pamper, frills, amenities or getting a quality service. This is a non issue at Woodhouse Spa. They make sure each and every guest feels special when they walk in and create a relaxing, luxurious experience. They have a beautiful relaxation room with a few private areas and other amenities you can relax in as well. This visit was special because it was for my mom’s birthday, and the woodhouse team told me they would make sure it was a nice experience, and they went out of their way to do so! I was so impressed with their set up for her, and she was so happy. Moving on to quality of service, you truly get the real deal here. I told my massue, Denise, I experience bad back pain, and she tailored my massage to target the areas that hurt the most and spent time on them. I felt such a difference during, directly after and a few hours after the massage. She is so talented and a rock star! From prior experiences at woodhouse and my mom’s massage as well, I’m sure this is reflective of the entire staff. Everyone we encountered was a gem. When looking for your next self care day, look no further than Woodhouse Spa!!

Tony was amazing and he did and excellent job doing my massage! I highly recommend him. The team was very professional and made me and my cousins felt welcome on our girls spa day. We’ll definitely be back!

Woodhouse is my new go-to for any spa treatment or a day of relaxation. They SAVED me last minute when I realized I had booked an appointment for my best friend’s birthday at another spa out of town, whose reviews led me to believe we were not going to be having the experience I was signed up for. The day before my friend’s birthday, I called, panicked, trying to rearrange plans last minute and ensure a special celebration. Syd was extremely helpful and carefully went through my options for what they still had available and how we could book services for both of us at the same time. I immediately felt relieved and like we were in good hands to trust in our celebration. When we arrived the next day, we were kindly greeted and given a tour (by Naomi) of the gorgeous, cozy, and extremely clean space. We were instructed on how to change into VERY comfortable robes and had lockers to keep our belongings safe. Then we were guided to a quiet room to relax in before our services. I was totally blown away. They had a private room for us with two very nice chairs for lounging with soft blankets, a glass of champagne (or tea upon request) for each of us, a plate of snacks and desserts, a hydrangea in a vase, a happy birthday note for her, and cold fruit infused water. We relaxed until it was time for her facial and I did the sauna and the salt room back to back. Naomi guided me to the infrared sauna where I had plenty of towels and a sauna large enough to lay down which was amazing. Then I went to the salt room which was cool and very relaxing. The salt room has soft blankets and an anti-gravity chair that was super comfy!! My friend said her facial was also wonderful. We had the most special day. I’m so grateful for the service and extreme attention to detail that allowed us to fully relax and celebrate together. Thanks Syd for squeezing us in at a last minute notice!! I’ll definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place. It was my first visit on my birthday (June 12) I was in the VIP lounge and they did special accommodations for me. My therapist Kimbi was magnificent and I will definitely use her again. The atmosphere is peaceful, beautiful and the staff is amazing too. My new favorite spa place!

AMAZING experience from top to bottom! Shawan made sure that I was comfortable with the massage throughout and has such blessed hands. Best massage and experience I’ve had in a while, I’ll be back soon! 😊
