Woodhouse Spa - New Orleans

The massage itself was amazing, and the space was clean, but I wouldn’t consider this a luxury spa. The front desk was unorganized and a bit condescending, which set the wrong tone from the start. Despite confirming multiple times and requiring digital intake forms, they disregarded them upon arrival and made us fill them out again by hand. The woman at the front seemed like she was having a bad day, which unfortunately added to the experience. There’s no sauna or steam room—just an assigned seat on a couch with a beverage while you wait. If you’re looking for a solid midline massage studio, this works, but if you’re expecting a true spa experience, this might not be the best fit.

I have been coming here for over a decade. This is my absolute favorite spa in New Orleans. I love Woodhouse New Orleans! I now drive from the north shore to visit this location since I relocated. They are always so friendly and accommodating. The facility is beautiful and clean. The services are impeccable. I’ve enjoyed every type of massage, full spa day packages, waxes, manicures, pedicures, and facials. Every single service was relaxing, enjoyable and of the highest quality. I would give this location 6 starts if I could.

I had a gift certificate so decided to give this place a try. I booked a massage and pedicure for both me and my mom. Parking was limited behind the building but we arrived early and lucked up on a spot. The atmosphere inside is really nice and we enjoyed the relaxation/waiting room and champagne. Both of us thought the massages were nice. Not the best, but we couldn’t complain about anything. I wish we would have stopped there because the pedicures ruined the experience for both of us. This was the worst pedicure experience ever! Please do yourself a favor and go to a real nail salon. The techs seemed very inexperienced and didn’t welcome us or say anything hardly. I wasn’t expecting a conversation, but it would have been nice to know why my tech left twice for long periods. The actual pedicure was very basic. To think of it, they really just clipped and polished our toes. The polish was so thick on one of my mom’s toes that it messed up (way after we were cleared as being dry). She went back to get it fixed and the lady tried to polish over it…like who does that? We also worried about cleanliness. After the techs were finished with our toes, we didn’t see them sanitize the foot bowls (and we were in the room drying our toes for a long time). I absolutely cannot recommend having a pedicure here.

Parking was limited, but I’m familiar with the area. Stephen gave me the best massage I’ve ever received! I felt like a new person after he finished. My facial was also exquisite. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The inside was clean and it was very tranquil immediately when you walked it. There was also a great selection of Christmas gifts to purchase. It was such a nice birthday experience for me. I definitely will be returning.

I took a self-care solo trip down to New Orleans and I ended my trip with a massage at Woodhouse Spas. I had the hot stone massage and it was amazing. I had so much tension in my back, and my masseuse worked it like a champ! He was awesome! The ladies were all so sweet! If I’m ever in NOLA again, I will definitely visit this spa again 💜

Nice people but you’d think they’d tell me hours before my appointment that I would have to reschedule or cancel my appointment due to the masseuse not being able to make it because the roads where she lives is closed off. But they were helpful but still disappointed because my appointment was for 3, they encourage you to make it there 30 minutes before and they messaged me at 1:42. HUGE inconvenience as I always already on the way.

Will not be scheduling any appointments here in the future. I was offered half off of my service because my appointment was canceled due to the massage therapist canceling last minute 25 minutes before my appointment. The 50% off was not honored when I needed to reschedule to a later date . They called me while I was on my way to my appointment and canceled, yet the Manager Alexis still forfeited my discount after inconveniencing me and refused . I will never schedule a massage at this location again . I would give the management here 0 stars if possible.
