Woodhouse Spa - Grand Rapids

I decided to do girls’ day out; so I invited my sister and daughter to come with me on Thursday, May 23 (our appointment was at 10:00am). My first impression of the place was that it had a peaceful and calming atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly, polite, welcoming, and professional. I booked for a Deep Cleanse facial and my sister and daughter had a Holistic Pedicure. Before meeting your assigned “beautician,” you go into this beautiful decorated “locker room.” You can put on a robe and clean slippers. There’s also a locker you can put in all your belongings and lock it. Once you’re done, you go in a waiting lobby/room until your beautician comes in. While waiting in the lobby, you filled out some quick questionnaires. My beautician (Chandra? Sorry, if I misspelled your name) was excellent, professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I was led into a room that was very calming and comfortable. There was a peaceful and soothing music being played in the background; and the bed was very comfortable and I think it’s set at a certain temperature. It was so comfortable, I think you can fall asleep in there! My beautician recommended what to do with my face and what to use. My sister and daughter had a great experience as well. My sister would definitely come back and get a pregnancy massage. I would highly recommend going to this place for some great experience! But make sure you are ready to spend some money. My husband bought me a gift card to this place for Christmas (last year) and I finally decided to use it few months later! The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are excellent as well. Also, book your appointment(s) before going. Depending on how many people are going, book your appointments few weeks before. When we went there, the area had few parking spots left, and it was getting busy! Overall, everything was great!

Just had my first facial ever this morning with Kayla! She was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. Woodhouse itself is so calming and I loved the atmosphere! The entire facial experience was amazing and so so so relaxing. She also had a lot of helpful suggestions and recommendations for my skin type. Can’t wait to book with her again!! Thank you Kayla!!

Nice and pleasant, but overpriced. Purchased a gift card for my wife, which she used for several services that were described as combining to 1hr. They ended up at 47 mins. At these prices, that should be embarrassing for this business. IB4: explanation from a manager saying facial service times are “estimates.” Edit: David let me clarify for you since you seem more interested in managing your reputation than serving your clients. She added a 15 min treatment to an existing 50 min facial appointment. She reasonably expected 65 minutes total treatment time. If as you wrote, your appointment book is not set up in such a way as to allow for “day of” flexibility, that’s fine. But you have to be clear with clients that the time needed for the extra service they’re purchasing will come from the time allotted for their original treatment. Note: this was a three star review. Then David swung by to set me straight 😂.

This spa is next level amazing! From the time you walk in, their service is top notch and the experience is so relaxing. I had a massage with Annie and she was incredible - customized my massage to what I needed and was very attentive. I will definitely be back. 10/10!

Have had around 5 spa experiences here and I look forward to many more! The massages, bath, and facials are so luxurious. Only giving four stars because personally I didn’t enjoy my gel pedicure, but overall this spa is worth the self care treat!

The massage with¹Serinda was amazing, the facial with Cenia was great she has gd techniques for massaging the face and addressing the lymph system. The products were not great they caused my skin to feel dry and did not decrease the fine lines on my face which are not deep. The atmosphere is tranquil and professional.

Absolutely love coming here, they’re the best! I drive across the state to come to this location because I’ve never had a less than amazing experience. Massage, facial, pedicure- all incredible. Highly recommend!

Wow does everyone need to come here at least once. It's very quiet, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. When you first walk in you get dressed in a fresh clean robe and wait in the quiet room while enjoying complimentary beverages. My wife and I did a couples retreat which I chose massages and pedicures. Our massage therapist were both very experienced and were accommodating to our different pressure of massage needs. Rooms and beds were comfortable, clean, and smelled good. Our second service was the holistic rejuvenating pedicure which was also very relaxing. Left our feet very soft feeling healthy and my wife's toes painted perfectly. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because it is a bit pricey for my taste but after having experienced it I can better understand their prices and will probably find a reason to justify it again in the future for my wife and I.
