WARNING- I asked for layers and that’s not what I got, I’m not even sure what I got but I would not go here or take a chance if your thinking of booking an appointment here and then I even went back for her to fix it and she didn’t. They would not refund the haircut due to it costing the business owner “time”. What about my time? I paid over 180 dollars for a cut and color and what I got was a complete nightmare. Now I have to pay to go to another salon for this to be fixed. Kat- Yes I came back in to have my hair fixed yet again it wasn’t done correctly. So why would I keep coming back to the same person to recut and then loose more and more hair. When my husband came in he was very cordial with you and you then proceeded to tell him I didn’t have the hair for layers. But yet your stylist continued to hack my hair. Take ownership and responsibility. How did you try to make things right exactly?

I went Jan 26th, 2024 and she colored my hair a darker muted tone. I told her it was horrible and I hated it. She said come back in 4 weeks and we’ll put in highlights that will restore the shade. I came back (my first mistake) on Feb 24th, and told her my hair felt extremely damaged now. She suggested a trim and that it would be cheaper to correct shorter. I agreed to 5” off and she literally took 12”. Cut looks unprofessional. It’s now March 4th and has extreme breakage and color distortion. still grey. It’s only been 6 weeks, I’ve been twice and still remains a nightmare. Last photo was just before my visit.

I asked for a simple 2 inch cut with layers and face framing pieces and i got the most choppy haircut i’ve ever gotten. The face framing prices aren’t even and they weren’t blended and the layers in the back just looks like the just cut chunks of hair off. I’m going to have to get it fixed!!

As a newcomer to Rapid City, I chose Willow based on the reviews from others who were new in town. I couldn't be happier with my cut, color and style! Zarah was so friendly and fun and gave me the exact style I requested. The cost was very reasonable, given that this is an Aveda Concept salon. Highly recommended!

I set up an appointment for my mom who was visiting from out of town and Valerie cut her hair. It was the best cut I have seen on her in many years. Great cut and I love that you can pay according to time. My mom has very fine hair so Valerie was able to wash/dry, cut, and blow her hair out in under 45 minutes. Normally my Mom would have to pay the same amount as anyone with very thick hair who could take much longer so this set up works wonderfully for her! Valerie was very kind and professional and did exactly what my mother asked for. We are two very happy customers and I will return for my own hair soon!

This was my first time at Willow. I love the Aveda products and thought I would give the salon a try. My hair turned out great with a trim as well. Meadow was professional and listened to my needs. I have grey hair and needed low lights on my crown. I am new to South Dakota and my visit did not disappoint. I will be back.
