My mom, sister, and I see Ado for color and Jonathan for styling. It can be challenging to find good stylists in DC, and we could not be more pleased with our results. We leave with flawless results every time and our hair has never been healthier. My mom’s top priority is the health of her hair, and Ado has taken great precaution to ensure she delivers beautiful results while maintaining the integrity of her hair - she is always honest and upfront and will only apply the color when she’s sure the result will be what you want. The color always turns out very natural and elegant looking. You can also always count on Jonathan for the most stunning blowouts. In addition to being excellent stylists, Ado and Jonathan are also a pleasure to be around. From start to finish, we always have a pleasant experience. I can’t recommend Ado, Jonathan, and Violet Salon enough!

the most beautiful haircut and color ever. sydney did my hair with a little help from mesut and both did a WONDERFUL job. they were so kind, everyone in the salon is incredibly nice and welcoming. quality of the cut & color is unmatched. definitely going back !

Worst blowout and haircut it. They damaged my hair!!!!! I got a toner and a counter highlights. After my first visit I had to go back because the front piece was too light and brassy. I went back and the same hairdresser and she fixed it to match the rest of my hair I had to pay extra for fixing it but I liked the end result no complaint. I Also got a full hair cut and she cut it shorter than I asked but no problem because it will be healthy and it uneven. I have gotten two hair blowouts in the two visits and my new fresh haircut is already damaged and feels weird and crinkled when I pass my fingers through and it smell burnt. They went from extremely wet hair to drying my hair using a extreme hot hairdryer without drying the hair half way first. You may think my hair is damaged because of the highlights but even my dark hair is crinkly. The picture is a small part but it’s all of my hair! They need more education to not damage the hair especially recently colored hair.

I had a great experience at Violet salon. The customer service is amazing. Mesut cuts my hair, he is the best! I trust him implicitly, he is a true artist! He puts so much love and passion into his work, always asks questions, makes recommendations and cuts and styles my hair beautifully. Berenice gives the best head massage during shampoo, this was just what I needed after a day at work. I'd definitely recommend!

I would not change Ado for anyone. I’ve been seeing Ado for years for hair coloring and highlights/balayage. Her work surprises me every time. She is great technically. She has magical hands. She is able to apply a mix of the European/French with a touch of US combination and voila my hair is naturally blowing. On another note she is an amazing woman with integrity. I love the crew at Violet Salon and have been coming here for several years. My hair grows quickly, so I have to come in regularly to touch up my roots. I am always happy to see the whole team here. Ado does my color and she does a fantastic job, whether it is single process or balayage. She has a great eye for making subtle changes when needed and is always meticulous. I have had my hair cut and styled by both Robert and Jonathan for years. They are both so talented and such nice people! I am always happy with my hair and with how they listen to me when I want changes. Jonathan cuts my whole family's hair (my husband, son, and daughters!) and our whole family adores him. Our family's hair ranges from straight to wavy to curly and he does a great job with each hair type. If you are looking for great hair care and styling by super nice people, this is the place!
