I had the best experience at this salon with Bailey! She was absolutely amazing—so friendly and had such a great vibe that made the whole appointment so enjoyable. The salon itself was so cute and had rad music playing, which made the atmosphere even better. I went in with an idea of what I wanted, and she nailed it perfectly. The haircut was everything I hoped for and more—clean, stylish, and flattering. I walked out feeling so confident and happy with my new look. I can’t recommend Bailey enough—she’s a true gem! If you're looking for a stylist who will exceed your expectations, she’s the one!

Had my first experience at Velvet today and got an amazing, transformative haircut from Libby. She listened to what I wanted, looked at my pictures, gave me some feedback and then delivered the perfect cut. The studio is so fun and relaxing with huge natural light windows which made me feel relaxed and pretty. I love that there’s a place in town that will provide a little bit of a cool, edgy look, regardless of your age or lifestyle. True story: I met up with my 21 yr old son right after my appointment and he said “Mom, I love your haircut, you look younger!!” Libby is the best, and this is by far my favorite hair experience in Bozeman!!

That was huge for me since I’ve had my hair severely bleach damaged in the past. She was very thorough with applying my color & my cut was exactly what I wanted! The owner was there to help assist at times & she was amazing as well, I couldn’t recommend Bailey & Velvet Salon more!

I got a wolf cut by Liza. She is newer to the salon, so having crazy anxiety from having horrible experiences, I emailed the salon with my concerns. They not only assured me that she was more than capable, but shared with me their process for new stylists which is extensive. This place takes care of their clients. Liza did an INCREDIBLE job and really knew what she was doing as well as took the time during the consult to explain everything really well so we were on the same page. I highly recommend Velvet Studio as well as Liza.

Beautiful studio and great booking service. Not a place for short hairstyles for women. my stylist was a kind, patient, lovely human, but the cut was terribly unbalance & unattractive. I think my hair was a challenge for her and I basically ended up being a failed attempt and some experience under her belt. Bummed.
