Unwind Wellness – Georgetown

Absolutely incredible! Antonio truly excels in providing an outstanding customer experience. He went above and beyond by coordinating with my favorite masseuse to come to the Georgetown location, allowing me to indulge in a facial while also enjoying a fantastic massage. His dedication to customer satisfaction has made me a loyal patron for life. I've enthusiastically recommended his business to all my friends and family, knowing they will receive the same level of exceptional service that I've experienced.

I contemplated on writing this review as I have been going to this location for years and have never had a complaint. Unfortunately, that changed Valentine’s night. I got a deep tissue massage from a female provider and was confused from the start. She left the lights on most of the massage and the room was pretty cold. The table is usually heated during my massage, but that night it wasn’t. She was less than gentle when moving my limbs and the sheet. The pressure level wasn’t the issue as I always get deep tissue massages…the problem seemed to be in her technique. A lot of the movements felt like someone trying to pop a pimple on your back (best way I can describe them). Her movements had no flow and seemed to be sporadic, what was done to one side was not done to the other. The whole time I just wanted it to be over. My massage ended at 845pm by 1am the next morning my back was sore to the point I had to take some Advil… I just had the same massage here a couple months ago and it was a completely different experience.

From the time we entered the building we were treated with amazing customer service. The ambiance was incredible and the choice of music was outstanding. The massage therapist did a great job, as she did not applying too much pressure, yet just enough. Yet, ensuring she was able to get out all knot's. Amazing experience!!

Li was amazing! She did a deep tissue massage while also ensuring it was a relaxing experience. The perfect combo! The ambiance was also very comfortable and inviting.

Love the spa. It's quiet, calming and serene. The masseuse I see, Pam, has figured out my body and does a combination of different techniques of massage as well as stretching and relaxation. I highly recommend! They are priced competitively, especially for the area.

My partner and I treated ourselves to a couples massage for our anniversary this year. After TONS of research, we finally chose Unwind in Georgetown. The massage itself was average - I will say the masseuses both were friendly & made a point to ask about pressure preferences & areas for focus and were attentive to these (giving them stars for that alone!). However, this was NOT a very relaxing or nice place to be. We were rushed in and out of there so fast - there was no time for relaxation, enjoyment, bonding, or anything of that sort. We spent maybe 5 minutes getting dressed and quietly debriefing after the massage (it was cold so lots of layers to put back on, lots of jewelry to fish out of my purse/put on again, etc.) and were getting a knock on the door every minute or so. There were a ton of rooms not being used so it was kind of confusing that they were so adamant on needing to clean our specific room for the next guests. We were baffled. After a few minutes, we just let them in b/c it was getting so frustrating so we ended up finishing getting dressed alongside them cleaning. So weird. We get massages nearly every year for our anniversary and every single place we've gone in the past have let us have a cup of tea before or after and certainly did not come in to clean the room as we were still in it. If they needed the rooms, we were always given robes and escorted to a nice changing area. For the amount we spent, it was ridiculous to be treated the same as massages that go for less than half the price. Overall, this was not a great experience for our anniversary celebration - I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing experience or one with ambiance. If you just want to be in/out for a massage, maybe this is the place for you. Otherwise, do not recommend celebrating any big events here - definitely was not worth it!

This was me and my husbands second time here. What an incredibly healing experience! From the general vibes of the space, to the professionalism of the staff, and the top notch skills of the therapist. Kate was gentle and surprisingly strong. She checked in regarding target spots needing attention, pressure levels, etc. Absolutely phenomenal and worth every penny!

This was our second time getting a couples massage. While it wasn’t quite as exceptional as the first, it was still very good. The therapist had warm, soft hands that worked like magic and helped melt away tension. The ambiance was perfect for relaxation, and the process from check-in to check-out was smooth and professional. The cleanliness of the space added to the overall comfort, making it a pleasant experience. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and we are looking forward to coming back next time. I would still recommend this to anyone looking for a great massage.
