Trilogy Salon And Spa

I booked this appointment as an impulsive, last-minute decision because my brother's wedding is two weeks from now and I think it may have been one of the best last-minute decisions I've ever made! (sorry that I don't have a great picture to fully show how great my hair came out - but trust me, it is great!) I've never been to Trilogy Salon and Spa before yesterday and had been to a different local place before but they were booked up for the next few weeks. On a whim, I made a phone call to Trilogy and they set me up with a next day appointment with Sami. I had no idea what to expect but Sami tremendously exceeded my expectations!! She was so sweet and bubbly and a joy to chat with throughout my appointment :) Sami was more tedious and diligent with my balayage than any hairstylist I've ever been too. I was stunned at the effort she put in and even though the appointment was a long one, the time and care she spent placing each foil was something I'd be willing to spend an entire day at an appointment for (i did not have to do that, don't worry! it only took about 3.5 to 4 hours but I also have long hair and haven't had it dyed in over a year so it needed some extra love anyway). But long story short - I highly, highly recommend Sami to anyone and everyone in the Newark area. My hair looks 100x better than before and I absolutely love how natural looking and healthy the balayage came out. I also got my hair trimmed and my DIY (oops) curtain bangs fixed up. Sami was so great at listening, hearing, and completing everything I came into the appointment for. And on top of that, she took the time to explain the entire process and answer all my questions. Nobody has ever walked me through each step like that before and I appreciated it so much. She's got a big heart and you can tell that she puts that love into the hair of every client she has. Thank you Sami, I hope you see this!! (and to everyone reading this who books with Sami in the future, she's saving up for her wedding and is definitely a hair stylist worthy of great tip, haha ;)

The hair cuts and colors look OKAY but your website, the services you have listed when you go to book an appointment and the prices you have listed for services are completely wrong. I booked a full foil and a haircut for myself and a haircut and a color melt for my 10 year old daughter. My hair was done in 1.5 hours. My daughters however took almost 4 hours!!!! Then after paying a $150 deposit I was told my total was $543.00. I almost fainted. Never ever again. Picture down below for 4 hours and $500.

I came from another salon last year and switched to Trilogy Salon because of Sami — and I’m so glad I did! She is absolutely phenomenal at what she does. Every time I leave her chair, I feel amazing. She listens, understands exactly what I want (even when I don’t explain it perfectly), and makes my hair look better than I imagined. I won’t go to anyone else now — Sami is my fav and will be my permanent stylist!

I went to Trilogy for a Perm and for some reason my hair was not permed at all. Happy to say the Spa contacted me and redid the Perm. Hair looks great now and appreciate effort and follow up!

Trying to find somebody to cut your hair the way you want is always hard. Randy took care of my hair and is getting it back to health He talked the whole way through as to what he was doing, and why. Definitely a place I would recommend! Definitely worth the drive from Maryland

It was my first time back in 20 years. Everyone seemed really nice. Loved the cut and style. I would’ve loved to be offered products ( like what she used on my hair) and maybe a quick explanation of how she got my hair to look the way she did so I can do it at home. I felt a little rushed, but I liked the end result. . This appointment was to get ready for my mother’s viewing/ celebration of life.

Had a very relaxing massage from Stacy! She asked what I would like, explained I wanted between a relaxation and deep tissue, but not one that I would feel pain in the next day. She did exactly what I asked her. I was so relaxed when I laughed and felt amazing. I had a very deep sleep that night. Definitely recommend Stacy and I will be going back again.

All of the staff is so friendly. They make you feel welcome when you walk in the door. I love my stylist, Brenna. She does great cuts and really knows how to cut and style curly hair.
