Tribeca Spa of Tranquility | Korean Body scrub NYC

I visited this spa for the very first time today to celebrate my birthday, and I had an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, safe, and completely relaxed. The space was spotless, and even staff members who weren’t directly assisting me went out of their way to check on me, offering water and making sure I was comfortable. I received a 90-minute body scrub from Jenny, who was incredible—so attentive to detail, gentle yet precise in targeting the areas that needed extra care. Then, I had a 45-minute full-body massage with Sarah, and let me just say, she was phenomenal! Sarah made me feel just as comfortable and taken care of. Her technique was flawless—perfectly balancing firm pressure with relaxation, easing every bit of tension I had. She knew exactly where to focus and had such a soothing, intuitive approach that left me feeling completely renewed. I walked out feeling like I was floating on air! As a plus-size woman, I’ve sometimes felt discouraged about going to spas, but this experience was completely different. The staff treated me with the utmost respect and care, making me feel comfortable and valued the entire time. If you’re plus-size and looking for a spa that truly prioritizes inclusivity and comfort, this is the place to go! I can’t wait to return—thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Best experience of my life! I got the Korean body scrub + massage + facial package for my birthday and it was the most relaxing day of my entire life. The entire staff is so welcoming and the environment was so relaxing. There wasn't even music playing but the ambience just radiated peace it's unbelievable! Everything is so clean and well maintained, you could very well eat from the floors. The body scrub was 1000/10! The sweetest lady took care of me and was very thorough with the scrub that the results were impeccable! I'VE NEVER BEEN SMOOTHER! I've had keratosis pilaris my entire life and the scrub gave me the same results of months using salicylic acid creams. She went over every area twice and just when I thought that was it, nope, she gives me a wash and salt/sugar scrub. She even gave me a mini foot scrub too! The best part is I never felt body conscious or insecure. It reminded me of when you go to Grandma's house and she gave you a life changing bath. I enjoyed every single minute. When that was over (unfortunately 😭) she led me to a sauna, offered me water and let me know that someone would get me for the massage. It wasn't even a 5 minute wait before it was massage time. This absolute sweetheart (I wish I remembered her name🥲) asked me my massage preferences for hardness/softness and honestly after that everything was a blur. I was in and out of sleep. I do remember the hot stones and the warm oil because that was what knocked me out. When that was finished, I was led to get my facial with the lovely Helen. The facial had a skin analysis, steam, high frequency and a whole bunch of cool treatments I didn't even know was included. She did some extractions as well that was so expertly done I didn't even know she was finished. I again fell asleep during the facial but you would too if you experienced Helen's gentleness and care. It was such a delight being pampered at Tribeca Spa of Tranquility and I most definitely will be back.

Such a hidden gem in Tribeca. Not like the traditional Korean spas I’ve been to where you spend the day going into the different saunas and jacuzzi’s. This is a much more private experience. I did the Korean scrub and Sue wonderful !

What a relaxing experience. I did the scrub and massage combo. She scrubbed me extremely thoroughly and then bundled me up like a baby and gave me a 30 min massage. You will feel taken care of here. I love the nice ladies. Thanks!

So happy with my experience! My New York dream day is to walk around all day until I drop and then go get a massage. I finally found the perfect place. I got a facial and a massage and it was amazing. I cannot wait to go back. They have evening appointments, it is incredible professional and everyone there is so nice. It was one of the best services I have had in a long time. I'm still thinking about it.

Such a wonderful experience doing the scrub and 30 minute massage combo. Staff was so welcoming and Lily did a great job working out all the knots in my back. The dry and steam sauna was a nice touch. They offer deals in April and October so looking forward to returning.

I love this place! I would come more often, but I don’t live in NYC anymore. I treated myself during a recent visit to NYC and it did not disappoint! I got the Korean body scrub with massage. It was so relaxing and my skin feels amazing. I will be returning during my next visit!

Love this spa!! Pricing is surprisingly reasonable and the staff is super friendly. I love coming here! Make sure to book in advance, they’re very popular! I usually get a facial here, but ai tried a Korean scrub which was really interesting and satisfying. I’ve also gotten foot massages and full body massage. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
