The Spa Downtown

Love this spa location. We live near Pioneer Park so this site is just a brisk 5 minute walk from home. It's on the same side of Main street as Grounded, right next door to The Black Box Theatre, and across the street from COAS. Wish I'd looked into it a couple of years ago! How did I miss the bright turquoise paint job? This spa offers massages, facials, hair care and nail care. I made my appointment on line. Rosie did a great job cutting my naturally platinum hair so that it looked modern and flattering. I appreciated that she knew how to style my curly/wavy hair so it can look good whether worn natural or blown out. Will go back to this spa for more haircuts and probably pedicures.

Adriana was absolutely phenomenal! I had an amazing facial, and she made the entire experience even better with great conversation throughout the appointment. I was also nervous about getting a Brazilian since my first experience wasn’t great, but Adriana reassured me and took such good care of me. The results are amazing—everything feels so smooth and soft, unlike last time when it was bumpy and patchy. Her professionalism and constant check-ins during the process made me feel completely at ease. I highly recommend her for both facials and Brazilian waxing!

My first time getting a massage and it was such a great experience. The moment I got there it already felt relaxing, receptionist was very kind. Michelle did such an incredible job. I received a lymphatic massage and she explained everything so well and checked in with me. Definitely will be going again thank you. I have had so much build up of fluid and pain sometimes and this gave me so much relief I feel less tension.

Adriana made me feel relaxed and left my skin glowing after a facial. She educated on skin care and helped me to get started on my skin care routine! I always have a good experience at the Spa Downtown!

Called 4 hours before the appointment to try and move it due to an emergency. They canceled and charged full price for the appointment anyway, and let me know I can book another appointment if I wanted to. I get time is money but been going there a while and never missed an appointment. Keep your $50. Not cool.

Recently moved to Las Cruces and was hoping to find an upscale one stop shop. Booked mani/pedi’s, massage & facial as well as a man’s hair cut & cut & color for me. Massage & facials were good. Mani/pedi’s were basic no frills. Hair stylist did not know how to trim husband’s mustache, my basic color & highlights was a disaster! I ask for blonde highlights & my entire head was dyed & came out a yellow/orange. After spending 5 hours in the chair & several attempts to correct the color ( another stylist ended up cutting my hair as my stylist just could not get it right.) Before I left I spoke to manager to rebook for color correction with a different stylist. I ended up purchasing 2 wigs since this disaster was right before Christmas and we had several events to attend! I received a call 2 days prior to appointment informing me that I would have to pay full price for correction unless I rebooked with the stylist that originally messed up my color. I ask “Why would I rebook with the person that messed up my color & I was unhappy with?” She said she could not credit my account for someone else, nor would she refund my money. I stated that the salon should make it right and she said she could not do that! With all of our services that day we spent over $600! You would think she would want to keep us customers and do the right thing. Since then found Karisma hair & nails, excellent professional services!

Michelle was just fantastic!!! Needed a Swedish massage, but someone that could do the job and that was Michelle, hands down the best and just a wonderful Individual!!!

Satisfied with my services. A new employee I believe her name is either “Melissa” or “Missy” who I also believe is new, was 100% great. I’m highly picky with certain services but I am most definitely making this location my home location. I’m also spreading the word. She made the environment feel super welcoming as well as comforting and is highly great what she does. Such a positive spirit and great energy for a newcomer. Great candidate for this spa!
