One of the best spas, if not THE best, I’ve ever been to. I am so happy they had some last minute cancellations for me to round out my last day in the beautiful town of Woodstock. I had an amazing facial with Elizabeth and might have to make the 2 hour drive once a month to see her. Excellent massage too and the amenities are to die for. Next time I need to get in the sauna and pool!

I have photographed many weddings in Vermont and the Woodstock Inn is one of my favorite venues. The staff is extremely professional and friendly and the weddings all run like clockwork. The inn itself is a beautiful property for any upscale Vermont vacation that boasts two sumptuous restaurants, a lovely spa, health and fitness center, golf/cross country ski course and down hill skiing. The photo opportunities for weddings is unlimited, a romance session in the gardens, first look on the covered bridge and reception in the inn. Here are a few photos of weddings I photographed in the past and I cannot recommend The Woodstock Inn highly enough for you romantic getaway or exclusive Vermont wedding.

The massages were wonderful but that is only a piece of the relaxation provided at this spa. Their sauna, steam rooms, hot tub, and lounge area with a fire place are the definition of comfort and peace. They have relaxing music playing in the background, refreshing drinks to enjoy, and even tasty little granola bites. The robes they provide are comfortable and the sandals are sturdy. It is a gorgeous facility with a lot of natural light. I highly recommend a stop here and even a stay at the adjoining Woodstock inn and resort.

Rebecca is amazing! 2nd time getting the chakra aromatherapy massage. It’s magical! The couches in there too are something I look forward to every year.

Such a beautiful place!! Eucalyptus steam room & lounge areas were WONDERFUL! Treated myself to a massage at the Spa with Stephanie, who blew my mind! If you have the opportunity to schedule a session, I highly recommend her!

Hotel was very quaint, cozy, and clean. Staff are super sweet and very accommodating. 4th of July BBQ was delicious and beautifully done. All of the events following into the weekend were outstanding! The spa for me was disappointing. The interior design was stunning and it had an extremely welcoming feel, but I could not get past the constant slamming of the guest locker doors and/or the cabinet doors as the staff would come along to refresh the towels/robes/slippers etc. Soft close hinges would do wonders on the continuous noise the heavy doors make on closing. Due to the spa space being so open with the men on one side and women on the other and co-ed space in the middle, the sound travels and can be heard throughout the entire spa. Not relaxing in the least and definitely put a damper on my expensive experience. I didn’t make it to any of the hotel restaurants so I can’t comment on them, but overall I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend the resort to anyone looking for a low key, but upscale getaway.

The spa experience was amazing. From setting up the services until the end of the massage. The masseuse was awesome and professional. My mother and sister also raved about the massages.
