Very clean spa - my wife and I got a couples massage here. We were offered tea and fruit infused water, robes and slippers. The massage beds were adjustable and heated, they offered different essential oil infusions in the massage oil! Overall very relaxing in the room and waiting area. Parking is pretty easy, but can be difficult to find parking at times. Makes for a great day if you pair a massage with some dinner at Fresh Salt. Pro tip: purchase a minimum of one 50-minute (or longer) massage or facial service have access to The Health Club including indoor and outdoor saltwater pools, whirlpool, sauna, and steam room.

This was the second time that I got a mani and pedi and was not impressed… again. Yes, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the quality of products were nice, but the workmanship was poor. For a $60 manicure of just paint on my nails, I could have done a better job. The manicurist just slapped on paint and completely missed the edges on several nails. For the pedicure, she did a better job painting, but as far as scrubbing the heel and taking off dead skin it was a minimal effort job. A waste on money. I could have done a better job at my own house.

I am highly disappointed in my experience at The Spa at Saybrook Point. When I first arrived, I noticed that the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room were separated from the spa and were for hotel guests and health club members as well. With this being said, there was an aerobics class going on in the pool, right next to the hot tub. This was NOT relaxing. I felt uncomfortable turning the hot tub jets on due to the class going on in the pool. After I soaked and was getting out of the hot tub, the instructor asked me to turn the jets off because they could not hear. I think this is a conflict for both parties there for two very different reasons. There was also fast, upbeat music playing and construction going on next to the hot tub area! I went to the spa to relax, and this is not what I go. Had I known this information prior, I would not have picked this venue. Towards the end of the day, there were kids playing in the pool and the hot tub!
The steam room and sauna are EXTREAMLY small, like the size of a small closet and seem to be meant for a total of two people. I thought the spa itself was small, but it was clean. I had a wonderful pedicure. My massage was average. I like the idea of the packages that this spa offers. Mine included a $25 lunch voucher to the resort restaurant. The food was phenomenal. For the price of my package and what the actual spa is, I would not return. I think this spa should offer coffee and pastries for the patrons to make the morning experience more enjoyable.

It was so beautiful, very festive, the food was wonderful and our party of 50 family members had a great time.
