I had a spa day here to spend a gift card from my birthday. I enjoyed my facial, mani/pedi and massage. The staff were friendly and the facilities were lovely. However, my manicure lasted less than 24 hours before it started peeling off. They also charged my credit card an extra fee that I didn’t authorize and wasn’t told about. I called in and received no apology but was told that they forgot to charge gratuity for part of my bill so they just tacked it on later. They did refund the money eventually but I wasn’t very impressed with their customer service.

Aesthetically interior and exterior beautiful spa and setting. I had a Swedish massage which was wonderful. My only complaint and the reason I did not give a five star review is because of the charge/tip process. In reading other reviews, this seems to be a common theme which apparently does not matter to the owners. The charge with an included 21% tip is processed prior to your service. I found this off-putting. I leave cash tips and I want the percentage to be my choice. It's not about the amount, as I am a generous tipper, it's the principle. I requested to have the 21% tip removed from the total so I could leave a cash tip. My request was accommodated. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience at the spa.

I spent the morning here with a friend. We got Mani/pedis together. The facilities were nice. The manicurists were so nice and friendly. My complaint is in the product they used. My toes were and stayed gorgeous but it's winter so no damage is being done to the paint. However, my finger nails in less than 24 hours had chips in and the paint came off in sheets. By day 3 I finally took the paint off because all but 2 nails looked horrible. I will admit that I don't do my nails often so I thought maybe I just don't remember how long it doesn't last so I did my own nails at home and even after a week they looked good. So I'm not sure why these were chipped in less than 24 hours and we're coming off in sheets. I did reach out to them and although I was told I'd be called back by a manager I have yet to receive that call back so... Before you drop $$ on this just beware it might not last more than 24 hours unless you are wearing gloves 24/7. Update from 3 to 1 star: as of 2 weeks after my call to to tell them about the nails and being told I'd receive a call back from management, I have received no call. It seems their customer service could use some work. I can not in confidence recommend their manicure job for the money that I spent.

I WANTED GIVE THEM 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 ⭐ PERFECT place for couple get away!! Not bad from New york! everything was so great. The property old but very cleaned and welcoming atmosphere. WELL managed!!👍👍👍👍👍 Except one... one... I don't want to write it but, I wanted so~~ badly fix this so I can enjoy more!! The room... when I entered the room#603 I immediately smelled mold. Yes. Mold.... Probably it is old property...? And I knew right away it will going to be difficulty for myself. But, it was only one night so I just let it go. But, I shouldn't let it go.. I was suffered a lot for allergic reaction... 🤧 PLEASE 🙏solve this problem so, we can go back and not worry about what I had deal with.... But!!! Services, feelings from the hotel was SUPERB !!!!👏👏👏👏👏💯

Missy gives one of the best massages I have had; in or outside of the U.S. It's a beautiful facility. Be aware that in addition to the higher than market price for services, there is a 21% automatic gratuity. This information does not appear with the spa pricing on the webpage. The guest pays before the massage, and the gratuity is adjustable after the massage, if you are so bold as to ask for your money to be returned to you. It may be an automatic charge because there have been people in the area or tourists who don't know to tip their practitioner. Setting it at 21% gives the impression that the owners prefer not to pay the staff themselves.

The actual individuals who did the services were great. They did what they could. However, management which I think they should have let me know ahead of time. Did not call and tell me that the specific people that were meant to do my services had called out/ not shown up. So we had people doing our services that were not trained to do them and I'll be honest they came out subpar. I don't think we'll be back which is a shame the actual place is lovely. The people are lovely but we left looking weird and feeling cheap.
