This resort is beautiful. The rooms are very unique and the lobby is gorgeous. However we were double charged for the stay upon check in and had issues with late checkout. Overall we had a wonderful time, just not sure if we will book again due to these issues.

The aesthetics of this hotel are nice—especially the lobby and common areas. The rooms are nice, too, but a bit dark, as are the hallways. Our room was clean. It is also very loud, you can hear every word from the hallway and outside. Not very relaxing. The service, also, left much to be desired. We tried to order room service starting at 5pm (which they claim to “offer daily from 11am -10pm”). We called the room service line 3 times over the course of 20 minutes and they never answered. So, we called the front desk, who told us they would speak to a manager and get room service to contact us. No one contacted us after that. An hour later, I went to the front desk and was told my order would be put in immediately. It was not and I never received any order or follow up of any form. Very strange experience and not what one would expect at this price point. Will not return 😽

It appears the hotel is severely understaffed. I was a guest at the hotel for a wedding and they refused to allow the bride to sit outside at the restaurant for brunch on Sunday because we were told they were all reserved and would be sat in the next hour. However, there were still several vacant tables outside well into the next two hours. I found out that 4 staff members had called out that day so that was actually why they couldn’t seat us outside. Due to the staff shortages, everything took very long. One of the meals didn’t arrive until 10 minutes after the others had already been brought and we had to walk to the bar to get the espresso shot that was never brought out. Additionally, I was told I couldn’t even pay for the option of a later checkout even though I had requested it because they had already hit the allotted number of late check outs. They should really prioritize those who are staying in the wedding block. There were issues with the gas line for the fire pits on Saturday night and they told us they couldn’t turn it on for us, so that was frustrating that it wasn’t working. There was a second wedding party that dominated the lobby when we were trying to take professional wedding photos. As the wedding party actually having a wedding on site, our wedding should have had priority in photography sessions. Because of the other wedding party, our wedding schedule was severely delayed and we had to make multiple accommodations, missing out on a lot of good opportunities. The reception also failed to distribute all the welcome bags that the wedding party specifically paid to have done. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and clean but the service is terrible and it seems to be an issue coming from management. The staff was very polite and were in a very difficult situation trying to work under those conditions. Expect a very nice looking decor but very poor customer service.

We enjoyed our stay. The lobby and bar and so fun and nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly. The AC did not work each night. We reported it. They said they fixed it, but it still did not work the second night. We had it on cool 70 and woke up each night sweating. Besides this, we enjoyed our stay, we would stay again besides the air issues.

This is a conference center more than a resort and spa. On both days, half of the common areas were reserved or dominated by conference participants. There were no tables or reservations available for meals. Housekeeping entered our room at 8:30am after a light tap that we thought was coming from the room nextdoor. I called the front desk and they told me I was wrong because housekeeping didn’t start until later. I definitely spoke to the person when she came into our room! Every time we mentioned issues to the staff we were just told sorry, with one exception, Ashley. She was so kind and supportive. We could not use the hot tub because that part of the pool was booked for the conference so we left for our dinner, as we had to do unless we wanted to eat at the overcrowded bar and lobby, and came back to a cold hot tub. Ashley was helpful and spoke with engineering to get it working again. After an hour it was better but not quite there so we gave up. |Our spa appointments went well and the staff was kind.|The resort is absolutely gorgeous and right from the start, we began plans to come back. Sadly, this is not the resort experience we had hoped to find and we were treated like more of an inconvenience than guests.

We had a lovely stay as a family travelling with two kids under 3. Pool area was fabulous - pools nicely heated and the kids loved swimming even in January! |Rooms and resort tastefully decorated. Restaurant lovely. Staff very friendly. Entire resort just a beautiful, well located and relaxing place. Check in easy, early check in was provided and very appreciated.|A couple of things that are not complaints but just for others to be aware of:|- while the room was not dirty, we did not find our room to be that “pristine clean” that you’d expect for a resort of this price range. We had small pockets of dust, minor scum build up in the bathrooms, some visible marks on walls. Fine for us, but some travellers would be bothered by this and it took away from the overall vibe of the place.|- free pack and plays provided but it did not have a soft mattress at all and we had to significantly pad it with extra sheets and blankets (which housekeeping kindly provided). Again, we also didn’t find it to be clean and there were food crumbs in it. |All in all, we’d stay again but only at the right price.

The Scott Resort & Spa is an absolutely beautiful space. I've experienced it twice for work events and will definitely be hosting a girls weekend here in the future. The staff are so helpful, the food is fantastic, and the grounds are so peaceful and luxurious. Well done!

Loud neighbors at 3:30am when they came back to their room. We called the front desk to remedy the situation and the next door guests must have been told we had complained because they put a large cup of water outside our hotel room door hoping we would trip over it. Security should never reveal where a complaint came from. Going in that morning for a full knee replacement I didn’t need to trip or panic over knocking over a large cup of water. Very unprofessional on the hotel’s part. Front desk was not interested and didn’t give us correct contact information for the manager. Rooms are old and tired looking. Nothing special at all for the price. The lobby area and pool area are beautiful. Not worth the money until they upgrade the rooms to match the public areas.
