My partner and I went there to get a couples massage. Neither one of us get massages so stepping into that kind of situation can be awkward. But the staff there made us feel comfortable and welcome right away. They were a great mix of down to earth and professional. We absolutely loved getting our massage together and can't wait to go back, together or individually. We both felt relaxed for the rest of the day. They seem to offer a lot of other services that l am eager to explore in the future.

My grandmother and I just had a most awesome experience at The Retreat Salon & Day Spa in Sandpoint. We were gifted with the half-day retreat package, which turned out to be 4.5hrs of sheer bliss! It began with a mani\pedi with Shayla & Bella. Our last manicures were long ago-needless to say, we were ready. That was followed by an hour long body massage, administered by Meri and Hannah. They are both personable, professional and knowledgeable in accommodating physical limitations. Lunch was included in the package and my grandmother had the pleasure of her first Italian Soda. Creamy and flavorful! The afternoon was dedicated to The Facial, another first for both of us-we thought it would be a few minutes of rubbing cleanser and moisturizer on the face but no-it was the single more pleasurable whole body experience since discovering what sex was all about. While it did include 5+ separate lotions & potions, it also involved steam, more massaging aromatherapy and heat. Profoundly relaxing and utterly gratifying...close to euphoric! I cannot praise highly enough the staff, the facility, and the personal treatment by these incredible women. Highly recommend!

Serena did such an awesome job on my nails! She worked with me to get the perfect color, and was willing to try a few things till it was just right. She was so funny, but I also felt very taken care of as a customer. Loved my experience here!

Got a men’s haircut from their stylist Kai. She was very professional and the haircut turned out great! The salon had an excellent aesthetic to it as well.

Sadly the worst manicure I’ve ever had. The nail tech, in an attempt to do natural white tips with gel polish, got white paint all over my fingers. She the heat sealed my nails before wiping it off and I was in the bathroom scrubbing my skin off to get most of it removed. I say most of it because it wouldn’t all come off. It hurt so bad! It might be a nice day spa, but don’t go here for your nails.

Since the grand opening, I have been thankful for The Retreat Salon and Day Spa. I have had multiple services provided there and have been so impressed at every appointment, regardless of what I get done. I absolutely adore Meri. Meri has been doing my eyelash extensions for well over a year, and I have never been unhappy. She is wonderful with waxing and facials. During the last couple of visits that I have had with Meri, I have been looking forward to seeing her and having a good chat. However, I was so relaxed while she worked her magic that I fell asleep just minutes into the appointment!

I tried The Retreat for a mani/pedi and am very pleased with the experience. The nail salon is clean, bright and comfortable and the nail technicians practice careful hygiene. Isabella did an excellent job on my nails and was very patient when I didn't like the first color I picked out. So glad to have found this salon.
