The most beautiful place and people I highly recommend! As a fellow beauty professional I must say everything was beautifully run as well. Very organized and professional and kind people that seem to enjoy their job! To the people saying it very outdated…I think it’s perfect. It’s americas first spa, it’s older buildings, but I think that’s why it’s so beautiful. It depends on your vibes I guess. I absolutely loved it we will be back every year!

First time visiting and it was an excellent experience. I definitely have to recommend the spa to anyone coming through town. Service was top notch and very well done. We ended up getting the revitalizing leg treatment and pampered foot massage. Every minute was so relaxing and refreshing.

Jaime just gave me the most fabulous relaxing, decadent hot stone massage I have ever received! I had a neck and shoulder issue that was locking me up and giving me a migraine and the migraine is not only gone, but I feel so relaxed and she got everything in my body to unwind, which is not an easy feat ,as I am a busy hairdresser who stands on her feet and works over 40 hours a week so my body was pretty tight to begin with. Thank you, Jaime and the Renaissance spa staff for fitting me in last minute notice when I was in desperate need! I’ll be back to see you again ❤️

I took my fiancé to the spa for his birthday. It was quite underwhelming. The mineral tub was nice, but the rest of the atmosphere is old, tired, and in need of repair. Very sad. The massage was really an oil application. Wish I would have chosen another spa. Expensive miss!

Nice little vintage spa with Natural mineral spring water whirlpool and no rush service. Not a lot of therapists so advance booking is highly recommended.

The whole spa is very relaxing. All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We had a relaxing soak in the mineral water bath before enjoying our couples massage.

Nice massage. Kind of weird going between floors (in public elevator) in bath robes for the services... overall good experience though.

We visited the Renaissance Spa in the Country Inn at Berkeley Springs. I got 3 services including a massage, body scrub and facial. The overall appearance and fragrance of the spa is very inviting. From getting into the elevator to sitting at the upstairs waiting area looking out over Berkeley Springs, very relaxing. The body scrub and facial was excellent given by Michele, I would recommend. The massage was very subpar per the 4 star review. It wasn’t the worst massage I have ever had but definitely below average. I would try this spa out again but probably not for a massage.
