This place is ok. Some of the members are weird. Thought I had made a few friends but it turns put they were just looking to use me because they thought i had money. Be careful who you friend in here. I did everything in my power to disconnect from them and slowly stopped going. I was also working in a different area so it made it inconvenient to keep going too. It happened to be perfect timing. I would get phone calls from one person I stupidly thought was my friend bullying me over the fact as to why I wasn’t there and not even in a joking way. And they would use me for free food. Also spreading additional rumors that were not true after a few people in particular
Initially initiated contact with me first off. Im pretty good with people and could tell it probably would not be a good mix to even try. But it was my fault I did anyway. I dont know how a person could intend to be nice by calling another person to make fun of them. Towards the end of my membership, I reported the behavior to the staff there were additional circumstances involved that prompted me to contact non emergency to talk about the situation and how to handle it. Weird crowd. Anyway. Overall friendliness and customer service isn’t bad. Locker room is extremely outdated and there’s an odor when you walk in the door. Would go back one day if my life allowed it. Would currently have to go out of my way to go to this place. I dont even remotely pass this place anymore after work or for anything really. Some of the equipment is really outdated. The one in bath is cleaner and more modern. Its where ive been going. It’s definitely not the kind of place that I would go out of my way for. I think the only thing that makes this place stand out is a sense of community among the employees and the gym members and the personable nature of the service. Which is great I just wish it was a better maintained building. The building is old and it’s been around a long time so there’s only so much that they can do. Another reason why I had stopped going was to avoid the people i had mentioned earlier, again one of them had started rumors that I had a ton of money and all the sudden random people I didn’t really know kept coming out of the blue and I’m not sure if it was that person’s way trying to push someone out of the gym they didn’t like by spreading rumors or what. All i know is tyat one person in particular im pretty sure knew my cousin and my cousin had a somewhat similar but not entirely similar situation with one of the members there in particular and seems to be the same person. It’s a shame and my mistake that I invited them to Thanksgiving to by trying to be an actual friend durring a small period of time i thought we actually were. Reason being they had said they didn’t have family to spend it with and at that time I just thought i knew them better. Not gonna deny they were trying to be supportive in a way initially i think but i think one of them over the other eventually just couldn’t help themselves but just start to want to be a bully and additional things that I found out that made me want to disconnect.i dont know if that was a way to butter someone up before hand or what. I had also heard about this person before but by the time i put the pieces together it was to late. But the behavior was weird. One of them even kept texting my work profile on Facebook even after we had initially stopped contact. And made me think they wanted to be friends again even though they weren’t genuine. All while trying to better myself. It was very strange behavior. There were other weird behaviors which i did report to staff eventually also. Overall, between the weird crowd and the fact that the place is not exactly enticing me in to stand out among other gyms. I do have to say for the value it’s not the worst. Just needs updates to an old building. Overall, the staff is pretty awesome. Everybody is pretty nice. Probably the best place about this place that they have a genuine relationship with each of the membership or try to.

If I could leave a less then 1 star I would… I joined this gym with my entire family including my 11 year old daughter after a month of consistent usage we were violently removed from the gym because of my youngest daughters age… had they let me know that she wasn’t allowed there in the beginning I would’ve looked for other gyms but instead they took my money and said it’s fine (after being kicked out we found out about there no refund policy). Keep in mind all of my children are homeschooled and need a place for PE. Thank you very much guys let’s try to be honest prior to taking our money….

Now owned by the YMCA. My wife swims there and just loves the warm salt water pool and the Sauna

I went in just last week to sign up for a membership. One of the owners Kevin helped me. He was awesome. He informed me of everything I wanted/needed to know before I could even think to ask. He was very personable. It's a small but perfect gym. There's a area for stretching, aerobics, yoga and light weights. Cardio. Then weight and weight machines. But the best part is definitely the sauna, pool area! Which is INCLUDED in the $34 monthly membership! So CLEAN! The womens bathroom changing area and the whole place honestly was very clean. I would highly recommend to anyone 😊👍👍

Moldy curtains in the women's shower area. Freezing locker room after getting out of pool. The hot tub had seen better days. (Or years) No privacy in women's locker room. Huge pot holes in the parking lot. No money has been put back into this place. Hard pass.

I love the Y! I also love the aquatics program that you can't ever get into! If you work....forget about it! You go onto a waiting list that never happens. If you ever manage to get a spot count yourself lucky. Plus where did the yoga go??? The waist of money for access to a pool program and yoga that fizzled out hurts. They are the only game in town, the YW only has fitness classes in the water in the morning. If you are looking for an aquatics program look elsewhere you will not get a slot in their coveted, very limited classes.

I go cause it's near to my house, but there needs to be some repairs. The stairs as you enter the gym are not finished. It's been over a year. It wouldn't take much to finish. Equipment is great, but sandwiched in a little too close. I go later in the evening to have room to breath.
