The Head Spa Sanctuary

The facility is very pretty and the decor is inviting, relaxing, and beautiful. Plush robes, and socks are provided. Although the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing, I can’t say that what I experienced was anymore than a good “shampooing” that costs $220. They do not blow dry your hair even. I left in freezing weather with wet hair after spending $500 (for me and my daughter). It’s a nice concept if you have money to blow, but for me it’s not worth the cost.

This is one of the most magical places. The first time I visited was at their old location, which was lovely, but this new location absolutely blew me away. This time I did the pure 75 minute head spa experience, and from the moment I walked in, I felt so serene and calm. My hair and scalp feels refreshed and renewed, and this nourishing experience was so needed after an incredibly stressful week. All of the staff members are so friendly and welcoming and I cannot wait to come back to try more services!

The experience here is top notch. It is pricey but you get your money’s worth with the relaxing environment, products used and professional service. The setup is a bit unconventional, but it will be worth it. The building holds multiple businesses along the hallways. The spa lobby area is on the first floor and you will be guided to your private spa suite on the second floor. The decor in both rooms was organic and inviting. My experience was a 90 minute double head spa with my sister. You will be in the same room for the dual sessions (the space was a bit small for this). Cozy socks, blanket, body towel wrap, and robe will be waiting for you. They will also set you up with a wedge pillow under your legs and a choice of hot or cold eye mask during your session. Detailed camera images and explanation of your scalp condition are reviewed before and after the session. The professional staff use a variety of methods catered to you based on your image assessment to hydrate and relax you during your experience including steam, multiple hair masks and washes, variety of temperatures, head, neck, chest and shoulder massages. I left feeling wonderful and my hair and scalp felt clean, soft and silky. Hannah and Sophie were very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this experience for relaxation and an extra boost to your scalp and hair quality.

Life changing! I go here because scalp psoriasis gives me a lot of trouble and the difference from when I first started going, to now, is night and day. The atmosphere of the whole spa is unreal, the owner did SUCH a good job. The treatments are so so relaxing, so thorough and leave such good results. They take pictures before and after treatments and the results never cease to amaze me. Every staff member I’ve encountered has been amazing. They are excited to be there and to make your experience the best it could be. Special shout out to Alanis for being the most bubbly, positive, and caring front desk/manager, for Jordyn for being the best tech I could’ve asked for for my first time-taking the time to explain every single step and truly caring to do a great job, and for Jamie who I now love, for being so skilled and thorough and establishing a perfect treatment specifically for me, and for caring so so much. I look forward to these and never want to leave! 😩💗 Ps I saw a review being unhappy that they did not blow dry her hair after the treatment, it is an add on that you can choose to do. They actually said it’s ideal not to blow dry right after the treatment to put high heat on the area but you totally could and you have the option to add it if you wanted to. They truly care here. The new spa is so inviting and relaxing. I went to a friends and family event and a Galentine’s event as well. There is nothing else like it around. What a great addition to downtown pineville. Lela and the staff were so welcoming on the tour and explained each service in detail! Don’t forget to add on a custom foot soak you will not be sorry!

It was my first time at the Head Spa Sanctuary and I received the Mama to be Skin and Belly facial. My experience from walking in the door to leaving was excellent. Alex was amazing, kept me so comfortable and relaxed! I couldn’t tell you the last time my skin felt this rejuvenated. I feel so good! Baby also loved it and didn’t stop kicking and moving around the entire time. I definitely recommend this to all pregnant woman, it’s a MUST! I’ll be back!

The best experience ever! I had the 100 minute head spa and hand mask. Next time, Is love to add more! Jamie did my experience and was super nice and professional. The lady at the front desk, I forgot her name, was also extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed. If you're thinking about doing this......do it! It's worth every single penny. I've never been so relaxed in my life!

I had the most relaxing and rejuvenating head spa experience with Jayla! From start to finish, she was incredibly gentle, knowledgeable, and attentive to my textured hair. She took the time to assess my scalp needs and customized the treatment to nourish and hydrate both my scalp and strands. The scalp massage? Next level. I could feel the tension melting away with every movement, and the steam treatment left my hair feeling soft, refreshed, and deeply cleansed. Jayla truly has magic hands, and you can tell she cares about both the health of your scalp and the overall experience. If you’re looking for someone who understands textured hair and provides top-tier scalp care, Jayla is it! I’ll definitely be back. 10/10 recommend!
