If you have considered getting a wax, especially a Brazilian wax you need to consider Tan & Wax Co. Its easy to find right in Concord, parking is a breeze and when you walk into the spa space its light, fresh, welcoming and airy. Getting any kind of wax can be intimidating, especially a Brazilian but Nina is kind, caring and compassionate in her work, she doesn't care about how much or how little hair you may have. She just wants to make you feel cared for and genuinely wants you to be happy and comfortable with your time in the spa. She is professional, knowledgeable and kind. She took the time with me prior to my appointment to explain what to wear, what to expect. When I got in for the appointment, she welcomed me as if we already met, I had time to change and then was invited into a clean, sanitary but cozy space, I felt safe, I felt comfortable and I wasn't truly expecting that feeling when I booked my first wax. I left extremely happy, I felt like I was leaving my sisters spa or a friend I had known for years! She guided me on what to do and how to position throughout the appointment and it was not awkward at all. I really hope you book with Tan & Wax because you deserve to feel great and if it's your first time with a Brazilian or any wax, this is the perfect place to go! You will not be disappointed with the care, results and respect you'll receive!

I had my first ever Brow lamination, tint, and wax today with Melissa. What a wonderful experience. I have very sparse brows. Victim of over plucking from the 90s right here. I was almost in tears when I left looking like I had natural, real, brows. No more spending 10 min every morning trying to fill/blend and balance my brows. Melissa has a client for life now. I heard she was the best, and she did not disappoint!

Both Nina and Melissa are sweethearts, and very good at making you feel comfortable during the appointment. The atmosphere provided is lovely, and they are insightful for the best experience.

Been going to Melissa for about a year now moved to the area a couple years ago and was hesitant on changing waxers for a while I would travel to my old person now I wished I had changed sooner. Place is very clean, relaxing, Melissa is very personable and good at what she does my wax never hurts as bad as my anxiety builds it up to be.

I’ve gotten a Brazilian many times at different places and this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Melissa was so friendly, skilled and had great conversation with me throughout my appointment. It was my first wax in a while so I was nervous about the pain but it was so manageable and way less painful than I expected! Very cute and clean place, I cannot wait to go back!

Nina is amazing! Her space is so cute and clean. She is incredibly professional but also makes you feel like you’re chatting with your best friend. If you’re looking for any wax or tan services I highly recommend her!

I love going to Nina! She is extremely professional, yet totally personable. The first time I went like anyone, I was nervous, but Nina has a way of immediately putting you at ease and walks you through the entire process. I’ve been going back ever since and don’t plan on stopping. The overall process is actually very relaxing and almost even therapeutic. Amazing environment and even better results.
