My favorite business in Raleigh. Tao is like a cozy boutique for relaxation and pampering, and it’s woman-owned! I had an amazing deep tissue massage with Bing. She is SO friendly and kind. Unlike other massage therapists, she actually looked at and asked about the problem areas that I noted on my intake form. The place is also really cute, clean and quiet. Loved it. Will absolutely be back!

I had a 90 minute CBD Pain Relief Massage with Bing yesterday and it was the best massage that I have ever had, and I’ve had several massages at different spas! Bing is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and very friendly. I have severe chronic pain from a bad car accident, so I am always in pain. When I walked out after my massage, quite unlike how I shuffled in, I felt so much better, and I could move my body much easier. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I highly recommend Tao Day Spa and Bing.

Tao Day Spa has a beautiful atmosphere and staff. Bing and her employees are all so kind, gentle and professional. Anytime I come in after being gone for a while and my nails are looking a little crazy, Bing fixes my nails to perfection. She has great customer service and I never leave feeling disappointed in my service or my time at the Spa. Great customer service, and experience at Tao.

I received a gift certificate and this was my first time here. The staff were all very welcoming and kind. I had an amazing relaxing experience with my facial, the esthetician Allison was incredible and very friendly! Unfortunately my massage therapist had her phone in the room with her and it vibrated many times during my session; this as well as the fact that she was listening to pop music in an AirPod that I could hear despite the spa music in the room was distracting and really took away from the experience. Overall the ambiance of the spa is nice. I also had a good basic manicure and pedicure done that I was happy with. I would probably come back for another facial, but not for the other services.

Overall, I can’t wait to go back. JUNE IS AMAZING. She’s so knowledgeable about skin; i felt like I got so much useful information during my visit. She was also amazing with my first ever bikini wax. I left feeling like I could completely trust her! Only reason for the less than perfect score is my nails. Maybe it is my fault for not going with gel, but I felt like I could’ve gotten better polish coverage. Julie did my nails, I believe. Very gentle and kind.

Update: Per owner's reply below. I reached out. Nothing happened. This review is for my services a month or so ago, I’m deciding to review now because after some thinking it’s rubbing me the wrong way. I booked a brazilian wax appt. Unfortunately it was a really uncomfortable experience, the woman waxing me did not know what she was doing and used the wrong wax type at first, it was very painful trying to remove it. She missed a lot of hair. I lowkey cried after the appt it was just a weird vibe. The place has good reviews so I don’t know why this happened …

By far the best Spa we have ever been to! I've been getting a body massage for over 20 years and this place has the best in the business. The staff are professional, courteous, and awesome! If you are looking an amazing experience, stop by and see Tao Day Spa in Raleigh NC!
