What an amazing experience! I’ll be honest, I was a little hesitant at first thinking about it, but it was an absolutely incredible experience! We felt so relaxed and peaceful afterwards! We are kinda spa snobs and are always looking for the next best thing to relax and get into that parasympathetic state and this more than delivered! Tim explained everything thoroughly so you know what to expect. He took excellent care of us throughout the whole experience. I highly recommend this opportunity for a once in a lifetime experience! Don’t delay book it!

Such an amazing, grounding experience! There is something really special about being completely emerged in the cedar. Not only does it feel like the earth is hugging you, but its natural heating effects allows your body to relax and just be totally in the moment. I felt renewed but also very centered and calm afterwards. It’s known to help stimulate the lymphatic system which helps to detoxify and I truly felt that the very same day as well as the next. Loved this so much, I’ll definitely be back before my trip ends. Also did the oxygen bar at the end to receive more healing oxygen into my brain and body. Highly recommended!

Absolutely rejuvenating experience at Tahoe Forest Baths! The Japanese Forest Bath truly immersed me in nature’s tranquility. Surrounded by the serene beauty of towering pines and the soft, earthy scents of the forest, it was a grounding, sensory journey that left me refreshed and at peace. Our guide, Tim, was wonderfully attentive, ensuring a soothing, mindful experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and rejuvenate! 😇💓🔥

Found this by chance on our last day in Tahoe. What an amazing, one-of-a-kind experience! Tim did a great job explaining everything and the place is immaculate. Hard to describe, but kind of like floating in heated weighted blanket! So relaxing. WONDERFUL!

What am amazing and healing experience I had at Tahoe Forest Baths. I expected to feel relaxed and perhaps to ease some physical aches and pains. What I didn't expect--but am so grateful for--was the spiritual/emotional somatic release I experienced. Lying there fully heaped over with warm cedar, tears came and I quietly let them flow. It was exactly what I needed, and I felt so much comfort. I felt refreshed and light when I emerged from it all. My complexion looked clearer and healthier. Amazing! The proprietor--who was my attendant from start to finish--was so kind and really made me feel at ease. I highly recommend a visit!

We had a wonderful experience in Tahoe, bathing in the warm cedar enzymes. Tim was an absolute sweetheart and couldn’t have given us a better introduction or breakdown of the history & from where it originated. I am a professional bodybuilder and am extremely rough on my body. So this was an incredible way to relax and detoxify. As well as replenish & repair. Thank you so, much!!!

After I accidentally happened upon a stressful situation my friend and I went here and there was nothing more appropriate. It was so relaxing, the place and people are so amazing, the experience as a whole was just incredible. You very much feel the love and passion from the owners. The cedar bath is surprisingly hot but nothing unbearable at all, this is a place I plan to visit every time I’m in South Tahoe.

I am visiting South Tahoe for a few days and stumbled across this beautiful, once in a lifetime experience! It was the most incredibly relaxing experience! Before sitting in the bath, you’re brought to a locker room to change and put your belongings in a locker. Tim then takes you to a little break room and offers you electrolytes and a Japanese fermented beverage called Super Ohtaka. It’s a thick drink and tastes like honey! After drinking electrolytes and Ohtaka, Tim leads you to the room with the cedar bath and explains the process. The top layer of cedar felt cool to the touch, but the deeper you go, the warmer it gets. You can actually see the steam coming off of it! Once Tim helped me get submerged, It felt like a big weighted blanket was laying on me. The key for the next 20 minutes is to lay still, relax and just empty your mind. It gets hot pretty quick, but not to worry! Tim comes back in the room a couple times to put a nice cold washcloth and gel pack on your forehead! I also enjoyed the oxygen bar in the break room after my detox bath. Wonderful experience all around! Thanks, Tim! I will most definitely be returning!
