I have gone to Sugar House for years. My stylist retired from doing hair so it had been forever since I had been in. I was going grey anyway and thought I wouldnt do any color anymore. Eventually my natural color was very white in the front and dark in the back so I wanted it more blended than what was happening naturally. I called Sugar House and was scheduled with Victoria for my first time back since my old stylist retired. Victoria listened to my desire for my hair to be more blended and suggested we do all over highlights of blonde to blend with my white hair in the front and to lighten up the contrast with my darker hair in the back. She also listened to my requests about the cut and how I love the look of it being shorter in the back and angled longer in the front. She did an amazing job. Even at the very end she wanted to make sure I was happy with the length and angle but she listened so well, I had no requests to change anything. I am 100 percent satisfied and she exceeded my expectations. You can tell how much pride Victoria takes in her work. I will be back. Added bonus... what a kind person she is!

Monica is an amazing massage therapist. I had an aromatherapy deep tissue massage. Monica really listened as we took some time in the beginning of the session as I explained the different pain points I have been having. She is highly skilled; I believe she has over 23 years of experience. I appreciate Monica!

Jae did an amazing job on my hair! The balayage and root color blending came out so natural and seamless—exactly what I wanted. She really listens to what you’re looking for and gives great advice. On top of that, she’s incredibly professional and kind, making the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend her!

I have been a long time patron of the salon-haircuts, Botox, express keratin, eyebrow waxes. Yesterday, I had an express keratin. For whatever reason, the stylist missed a patch. One small section was wavy, while all the other hair was straight. I called to come in for a correction, and was told this was just how express keratin looked (lol) and that I had been warned that express keratin didn’t get hair perfectly straight. The salon refused to fix the mistake. It was about the silliest thing I’ve ever heard. I’ve had express keratin treatments-at Sugar House. I stuck with the salon through the extra fees and the price increases, but for some reason, this was my limit. Mistakes happen all the time, and they’re no big deal, but a salon that won’t fix them is not a salon worth going to.
