I recently visited Studio J salon for their Japanese Head Spa. I was seen by Myra and she did a fantastic job! She started off by examining my hair and scalp. She was very knowledgeable and told me step by step what she was doing. We headed to the room and she took her time and washed my hair while massaging my scalp. She ended it with a neck and arm massage along with hot towels. It was the most relaxing thing I had experienced. She was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. If you have longer hair or thicker hair, they do add a charge of $15 because they need to spend more time on you. It would have been nice to be told that when I booked but it was still very worth it!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a Japanese head spa for the first time, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for relaxation. Alyssa, was an absolute gem. She was incredibly sweet and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire session. Her gentle touch and soothing techniques instantly melted away my stress and tension. I felt completely pampered and in good hands. If you’re considering a head spa treatment, I highly suggest you to book with Alyssa. She truly has a gift for making her clients feel special and cared for. This was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to return!

It was my first time here, this place is very cute, everyone is friendly, they were busy but since we had an appointment it was good. My daughter's had the scalp massage and she was in for a treat. Melissa was making wonders for her and it was worth it. They offer other packages and we will be back!!

My boyfriend and I had dual Signature Head Spa services today, it was incredible and so relaxing. Massage, light touch, hair combing, luxurious shampooing and conditioning…the whole thing was a treat for our senses. The beds were warm and cozy, the room was dim with a relaxing light laser for the ceiling, and layers of sound to create a soothing ambient atmosphere. The scents were delightful, rose water and the different products used on our head, face, arm and hand massages smelled and felt lush. The water on our scalps was warm, soothing and varied in pattern. Absolutely an incredible sensory experience that anyone who likes to treat themself should try.

Highly recommend the scalp treatment!!!! I have curly and thick hair. I used a lot of hair products to tame my wild hair 😫 I did not know how bad of a buildup I had until I went in. My scalp thanks Myra for an amazing job. The treatment overall was very relaxing and way better than a normal hair wash visit at a salon. My scalp felt cleaner, my hair was lighter and smoother than usual. And the head massage was on point🥰 Will I do this again? Best believe I will. It was my first and definitely will not be my last.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother. She went to the salon on August 16th to get her hair colored and cut. She sent the hair stylist photos before hand of her current hair and examples of what she wanted as her end result. The stylist agreed and they proceeded with scheduling the appointment on the 16th. At this appointment she left with a cut and color that was patchy and an ugly brown. She had requested low lights to keep and blend her grey hair in. The first attempt looked exactly like the before photo but with a horrible orange patch in between the grey and black. The stylist then stated “well that didn’t go as planned I guess it’s a trial and learn situation”. Without consult on color, the stylist then covered up the mistake resulting in an ugly patchy brown.The salon charged her for this service and she had to find a new salon to fix the mistakes they made. So at the end of the day she is left paying over $300 to be happy with her hair. Not to mention she spent 2 years growing her hair out to achieve the grey look she wanted. 0/10 do not recommend this salon if you want to walk away with confidence.

I am leaving a 5 star review for Alissa. She's been cutting my hair for some time. She always does an amazing job. Never cuts too much, is attentive to detail, and always makes sure I am happy with the results before I leave. If going out of your comfort zone, Alissa makes sure to take the time and listen to what you would like and get it done right. Love her as my stylist!
