Spavia Reno

I have been dealing with some obnoxious breakouts recently so I scheduled a classic facial with Lisa. This was my first time here so I wasn’t expecting the nice robe to change into (very spa-like). Between the added time to get cozy and some paperwork I had to fill out it ran into the start of my appointment. Once I was changed and in the relaxation room, Lisa took me back right away. Had I gotten there a little earlier there was a warmer with neck pillows and an assortment of teas to enjoy. The facial was very relaxing. She explained the products she was using and also advised how I could help my problem areas at home to keep my skin nice. Between the skin pampering and some massaging while the products worked. It was a great way to decompress after work. My skin was so hydrated afterward and 4 days later I have seen a lot of improvement with my problems areas. I would definitely recommend Lisa and look forward to my next service with her. Spavia was a nice balance of convenient spa service like other chains and upscale spa atmosphere without the price tag of the casino spas.

I’ve been a member for about 5 months now and I’m enjoying it very much. It took a couple of appointments with different therapists and then I got Nick by sheer luck and he is amazing. He’s very knowledgeable and explains everything as he works through various methods to get tense knotted muscles to release. He’s very professional and continuously provides tips for stretching and at home remedies to help alleviate pain and tension in sore or bound up muscles and fascia. I have a deep love for CrossFit and horse riding along with a desk job, which leaves me with ongoing muscle aches and pains. The massages have been so helpful to maintain a balance in my wellness routine. Using membership credits is easy as is leaving tips for the therapist. When I have time I like to relax in the cozy sitting areas and drink some tea. The tones are soft and comfy. The lockers, changing rooms and bathroom are all very nicely appointed. The lobby is inviting and they always have very nice products to peruse and purchase. I’ve found quite a few unique pieces of jewelry that I always get compliments on. The only thing that I do not care for is their online scheduling and booking. The system is terrible and never works properly. I have found it easier to book a few appointments out when I’m checking out with the receptionist.

Yvette has been absolutely wonderful! She takes the time to work on anything that maybe bothering me or sore from work. I’ve also gotten my wife to get a massage from her (she has never gotten one before) and had a good time that now she had me schedule one for next month. The establishment is also very nice and clean with what feels like a pleasant environment 🙂

If you get here early or stay after your massage you can enjoy some relaxation time. You can bring a book or just sip on some tea to get you prepared for your massage or to end the visit with. The seating area is cozy and there are hot neck pillows available to help you relax. I get deep tissue massages with Nick and he always delivers. He takes a therapeutic approach really focusing on the areas that need the most work. He’s good at getting knots out and relieving tension in areas that hold the most stress. Highly recommend.

Listen, friends. I have an obnoxious amount of privilege and respect for massage therapists and everyone in between. I’ve know the best of the best in Reno since 2017. I can honestly say that Michelle was the best I’ve met with and I really wish I had a way to work with her directly, because I definitely would. I’m so, so sad to learn tonight after my appointment that she is leaving. Chances are, I will cancel my membership. But, if someone is out there and wants to help Spavia, they could use the help! Thanks!!

This was my second visit to Spavia for a massage. Both times I have had Yvette. She is professional, knowledgeable and very good. I will definitely be going back for a massage with her. Thank you!

I do recommend Stephanie is a great masseuse. I felt asleep and woke up like I was sleeping more than 8 hours. My whole body is not tense at all. Great service stephanie!. Lisa was an awesome esthetician. My skin face looks very renewed and glowing.

My fiancé got me the rejuvenate package for Christmas and I couldn’t be happier. The staff here are wonderful and the services are limitless and top notch! Denise is a great esthetician, and super comfortable to chat with during the services. My massage therapist, Shaylene was very great as well, I can’t wait to book with her again!
