The Spa Pendry experience was just what the doctor ordered. The staff was pleasant and responsive and my Athlete’s Massage with Wallace was exceptional! Wallace has a knack for easing out the stress and strain of a physical lifestyle. I was left in a wonderfully altered state. Highly recommend!

This hotel is in a great location. Located right in the middle of The Wharf. The rooms are pretty nice but cozy. The views were even more amazing looking over the water. The check in process was pretty smooth. This was for a birthday weekend. We also booked the Spa Pendry - this was an absolute experience. If you’re here for relaxation. This would be it!
They also brought me a little miniature birthday cake. We appreciate the thoughtfulness of this.

what an experience; from the moment you walk in you are greeted with warmth and calmness (exactly what you’re looking for on a spa day). They have snacks, water, and even offer a glass of champagne if interested. I got both a facial and massage and both were really good plus access to the pool on a beautiful day. It’s a luxury experience so the price tag is reflective of that but for a splurge totally worth it!

Sooooo good! I recently decided to visit for my birthday. I stopped by the bar as well as the spa. I loved the ambiance, very sophisticated & minimalistic. Great service from the spa's receptionist. The girls were extremely friendly, bubbly and informative. Especially Tiana! Being greeted with a glass of champagne was a nice touch.
Prior to my service I was encouraged to relax in the steam room, enjoy a few refreshments or just hang out in the lounging area. There's tampons, water, a beauty station, robes, slippers & more located in the changing area. There weren't many people in the changing area or steam room so it was pretty quiet.
Tosin was my massage therapist. He has such a gentle touch. I really enjoyed his massage technique. His warm demeanor was a plus.

We planned a special couple’s massage that did not meet my expectations. Things started out on the wrong foot when the staff person assigned to me smelled very heavily of cigarette smoke. I don’t have any personal feelings against smoking, but when I’m paying for a relaxing ambiance, I don’t want to be smelling cigarettes during a spa treatment. The massage itself was not the best I’ve had, and I’m not sure my staff person was the most experienced. When I asked for more pressure, because it didn’t feel like they were actually massaging me but just rubbing my back, they just used more force and now my neck is sore after. She also forgot to do part of the package’s foot scrub on me and only my husband got it, which I did not figure out till after. We were supposed to be given extra time post massage to relax in the room as a couple with a dessert and champagne, but we were told we strictly had 10 minutes max because they had to change the room over, which did not make sense and felt like an oversell on what the couple’s experience was supposed to be. We showed up on time for our appointment, too, so any scheduling conflicts were not on us.
I would book instead at the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons. Maybe this place is good for individual services but it didn’t feel as special as I hoped to do a couple’s thing here. The front desk staff were understanding and gave us a discount on our service when I brought up the cigarette smell issue, but still, I think our money would have been spent better elsewhere. The facilities are nicely kept though my husband told me later the men’s locker room was understocked on toiletries.

My friend and I recently treated ourselves to a rejuvenating spa day, opting for the 60-minute massage to ease into the experience. From the moment we stepped into the spa, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of cleanliness and tranquility. The inviting scent that filled the air ( which I purchased in the end) and the warm welcome from the concierge staff immediately set the tone for what turned out to be an extraordinary day.
As a self-proclaimed spa snob, I can confidently say that this location exceeded my expectations. The aesthetically pleasing décor, coupled with the warm lighting, created an ambiance that felt both luxurious and soothing. The attention to detail was evident, and the cleanliness of the facilities only added to the overall sense of relaxation.
The concierge staff not only checked us in efficiently but also took the time to give us a tour of the locker area. The abundance of amenities was impressive, making the entire spa experience even more enjoyable. It was evident that every aspect of the spa was carefully curated to provide a truly exceptional experience.
Now, let's talk about the massage – and more specifically, Wallace, the magician behind the hands that worked wonders on me. Initially, I considered keeping this gem to myself out of fear that I wouldn't be able to book him again, but Wallace's skills deserve to be shared. The option to choose from three scents added a personalized touch to the massage, and Wallace's expertise made it one of the best massages I've ever had. I left the spa feeling like a noodle – utterly relaxed and completely rejuvenated.
While my friend enjoyed her massage, I took some time to unwind, and I'm pretty sure I drifted off to sleep, complete with a bit of snoring. The next day, the results were evident – my skin was glowing, and I noticed improved mobility. The entire experience was a solid 10/10, and I wholeheartedly recommend this spa to anyone seeking a blissful escape.
In conclusion, if you're in need of a tranquil haven, look no further. This spa has mastered the art of relaxation, and with professionals like Wallace and the rest of the staff, you're in for an unforgettable treat.

I visited the spa today 3/16/24 for a 90 minute hot stone massage. Wallace was my massage specialist. This was hands down the best massage I have ever had. I get hotel spa massages every time I travel and he beats them all. I loved how he incorporates stretching into the massage. He is so attentive and professional. He has the perfect amount of pressure. I feel like I just got 10 years added to my life. The spa is very clean and beautiful. I also enjoyed sitting in the steam room after. I live in Charlotte NC and I am already planning my next visit so I can get another massage by Wallace. Thank you so much Wallace! You deserve all the good things!

I booked a massage with Wallace based on the reviews and I’m glad I did. The massage was great and rejuvenating. Definitely one of the best massages I’ve ever had! The spa staff was very attentive as well. Highly recommend checking out the pool after your service.
