Spa at Ross Bridge

I went with friends and had an incredible time! Started w champagne in a beautiful hot tub, then we each had a facial and message….best day ever! The facial was amazing and message was so nice. The over-all experience was 10/10. Perfect way to spend a day and treat yourself!!! I will be going back!

Staff went beyond to make sure that I was taken care of and I appreciate that. The eucalyptus shower was nice. The Jacuzzi and door the spa smelled kind of bad so that stunk I got a couples massage and unfortunately, we were kind of disappointed. We both wanted more firmer body work, but these were more Fūfu massages

Don't tell anyone about this but I want to share a secret, the best spa in Bham is Ross Bridge. This spa and my deep tissue massage, (thanks John), absolutely is the best I've ever experienced. I went in to improve some muscular soreness but left with improved well-being from every aspect of wellness. Thanks to the staff from the checkin process, attendant and check out experience. Thanks to the staff I didn't get to meet in person who must work tirelessly to clean and take care of the space as if they actually live there. Grateful for today's visit to Ross Bridge Spa.

This Spa has a nice set up but my first time going was horrible. The staff was nice and forgetful.My tour guide was Darlean and it seems she was In a hurry and ready to get off. She forgot about me twice. She sat me in the women's lounge after my tour. She gave me slippers to put on offered me a drink and never gave me my robe to dress out in. She came back 15 mine later to ask me what did I want to drink and she apologized saying she forgot about me. I told her what I wanted and she came right back. After a few sips and still waiting on her to come back with my robe, I went to sleep bc it was nice and cozy in the lounge. I woke up 30 mins later and went to find her to get my robe and she apologized once again. Oh and to mention the Sauna wasn't working and I really wanted to enjoy being In a Sauna for the first time. After getting my robe I showered and got into the hot tub. After sitting in the hot tub for about 10 mins,it was okay untili turned the jetter on to get back in. Lord knows I should had never done that!!! When I got back in Gunk started coming out of the jetters and it started to smelling like a Seafood Boil in there bc apparently most women don't shower before entering but it stunk really bad. I showered for so long trying to get that awful smell off of me. I had to throw my swimsuit away. I don't think that smell would have come right out after washing it. My massage was okay even tho he spent most of my session fight with some tape on bags he put on my hands and feet during my massage. I really feel that going to this Spa was a waste of my Time and most of all my Money.

I will never go back. My coupls massage was supposed to be included in my hotel. When I went to check out they charged me an extra 500 dollars. The hotel manager tried to make it right, but he could not over ride the spa manager. *Keep in mind it was my 40th bday and we had already spent a good deal of money with them. NEVER RETURN!! Got a couple massage for my birthday here!! It was epic! The service was A-1 and the facilities were immaculate!! Definitely will be back sooner than later!!

UPDATE: A few days after posting this review I did hear from the general manager and he apologized for my experience and promised when I decide to use my voucher to call him directly and he will make certain my visit is remarkably pleasant. I waited a week before posting this review because I was very angry last week. I wish I could rate them higher because my spa experience was wonderful. I had a voucher for a free night's stay, booked through the hotel’s Room Controller. After my spa experience, I tried to check in but was told I couldn’t stay without surrendering the actual voucher unless I paid full price. Despite pleading that driving an hour home would ruin my sense of relaxation, the front desk person, Felicia, said it was hotel policy and there was nothing she could do. From a chair in the lobby, I called the 1-888 number and was advised to ask for the general manager. He was off, but after pleading with Joshua, the front desk manager, he agreed to override the policy and let me stay. By this point, nearly an hour had passed, and I was so upset that I decided to leave. I immediately emailed Warren and Amy, who had issued the voucher and booked my reservation. I also left a voicemail hoping for an apology or explanation. A week later, I have heard nothing. I will be escalating my displeasure with Ross Bridge in Hoover, AL, and its staff.

OmG! Where they been all my life. The experience was awesome. My hotel stay, spa, food was the best ever. Massage and day spent enjoying the amenities was what I needed. That salmon salad with lavender honey dressing was so good, I had two days. Can't wait to go back.
