My massage with Jay was outstanding! One of the best I've ever had. Jay was personable and did such a good job working out tension. Wish I lived closer!

Had an incredible couples spa on New Years Eve! Emmy and Susan were our masseuses - very professional and kind. They were attentive to certain areas that we talked about and never made me feel uncomfortable. It was crazy on the streets but they made our atmosphere as relaxing as possible. I fell asleep for a moment haha. Finished with a mimosa and got to relax in their lobby full of goodies. Absolutely loved this experience and would do this again! Thanks Emmy and Susan!

This was my first time at Spa Aria and I am so glad they were able to book me with Kellie. She is, quite literally, wonderful and I can't wait to visit again and come back!

The accumulated aches from airline travel and typical tourist activities melted away thanks to a lovely massage at this spa. Annie was friendly, professional, and skillful. As a proud native of NOLA, she very kindly answered my request for recommendations on local restaurants with great suggestions, which I consider to be service above and beyond. This was one of the highlights of a lovely visit!

My partner and I visited Spa Aria for 70-minute couples massage. The massages were good; both therapists thoughtfully discussed our issues and addressed them adequately. For the services alone, I would give a 4-star rating.
The average 3-star rating is for the overall spa “experience.” As other reviews have mentioned, this is not a day spa; it is a salon offering body treatments and should be presented as such. The amenities are minimal, if not nonexistent. The changing area is a glorified bathroom, offering no private changing area besides the toilet stall (ew). The door from the lobby opens directly into the room, so one would be exposed if changing there when the door opens. A cramped bay of lockers are located directly in front of a single sink, adjacent to a basic stall shower. The room is quickly crowded with more than one person.
The only amenities were a locker, robe, sandals, towels/washcloths, basic shower with toiletries, razors and mouthwash.
My suggestions would be to offer lotion, spray deodorant, combs and basic hair product. Hooks throughout the room for hanging robes and towels would also be helpful. Perhaps even a separate (standing) vanity area in lieu of the bench on the right.
The only sitting area is in the entrance/retail space and offers no relaxation, so there is no lounge for patrons.
The “couples suite,” was dark and mostly quiet, except for the occasional loud street noise. Relaxing spa music played. There were two massage tables and a single armchair… which did not offer much comfort for two people wanting to relax together post-treatment (since there was only seating for one). I’d suggest an additional chair at least, but a small sofa or settee would be better. There was also a private bathroom in the suite, however, it was used as storage. I’d suggest making this accessible to couples booking that service, as space is so limited in the “locker rooms.”
Overall an average experience. For the price point, I expected a bit more in terms of amenities.

What a wonderful experience, my husband and I felt so well taken care of and found it to one of the best moments of our trip! Kudos to both of our technicians especially Maria who treated me with such care.

I was highly satisfied with my overall experience at this spa. The entire staff was very friendly from the front desk to the actual spa workers. I had the signature facial with Rene and the 60 minutes hot stone massage with Jennifer. I was pleasantly impressed with both services. My massage with Jennifer was excellent and a game changer for me . I wish I could have pack her up and brought her back to Miami with me. My body is always tense and muscles are so tight. I do suffer occasionally with sciatica. Well she work every pressure point of my sciatic and loosen my muscles until they were relax without vigorously hurting me . I felt no pain during or after the massage. She’s very knowledgeable she gave me some tips about correcting my posture which helped and pointed out a few exercise and things I could do at home to relieve pressure from my lower back. I wish I would have scheduled for 2 hours instead of one., that’s how much I was impressed by my massage. It was one of the best massage i ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND JENNIFER. My facial with Rene was excellent as well she had my face glowing and my skin soft. . If you I every in New Orleans please check them out you want be disappointed.

Ask for Jennifer by name at the Spa Aria at Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, folks. She’s that good.
I have chronic low back issues, and Jennifer took the time to listen to my complaints and understand the mechanism behind what’s wrong before she set to work. Pleasant and talkative in the best way, she checked in often to ensure I was having my best massage ever. And I did! As she worked close to resolving an issue, she generously adjusted our session to fully address my problem. She also provided gentle guidance for preventing the issue in the future. Thanks to Jennifer, I walked away pain-free for the first time in months, maybe longer.
This was truly the most helpful therapeutic massage of my life, and I get massages monthly all around the world, often at high-end places. If you’re looking for the best deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, or pain relief massage in New Orleans, the Monteleone Spa with Jennifer is the place to go. Whether you need relaxation, muscle tension relief, or chronic pain management, Jennifer’s expertise ensures an exceptional experience. Low back pain can be difficult to manage, but a skilled massage therapist makes all the difference. And the price here is really low!
Also, pro tip, the spa sells lots of lovely beauty products. I was thrilled to find some wonderful bath salts I’ll be using all week during my stay!
