I would recommend for anyone, whether you are a tea drinker or not! The experience is grounding, relaxing and unique. The rooms are private for the foot soaks and the staff is very attentive. Me and my sister had an amazing time. 10/10 would do again whenever I'm in Portland! Tea was also outstanding. I bought some of the tea I enjoyed while there which was the ginger mint. Book your visit, you won't regret it!

What a hidden gem! We had an amazing time, big shout out to the amazing Jane for getting knots and aches out with communication and patience. I cannot express how amazing this experience was, the tea, the foot bath (with hot water top offs) and the massages! A great way to treat yourself, your loved one, or a group! My husband and I are planning on coming back, and will be requesting Jane!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Soakology. Everything was wonderful - start to finish. Jane took our drink orders and was just lovely, such a nice young woman. Liz and Zoey did our treatments, and both had magic hands! We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Early January I booked an appointment for 4 of us to celebrate my friends birthday. They wrote back that we were booked and to call to give a credit card which I did. We arrive on time and the doors are locked but staff is inside. We knock and they let us in.
They tell us we have no reservation despite me showing them the email they sent and they are closed and could we book our birthday soak Another day. The consolation they offered was free tea next time. There were enough people there still to take care of us but they decided to close and go home instead of honoring the appointment. The manager even blamed new staff for the mistake. You would think at a minimum they would give us 4 free soaks in the future.

Awesome! As someone who has only had a more traditional spa experience of massages and facials, I did not know what to expect, but thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
We booked as a couple, each doing the Maine Woodsman. This included a salt soak, antioxidant foot and lower leg scrub, and 20-minute aromatherapy massage focusing on the head, neck, and shoulders.
When you arrive, you will be presented with their large tea and hot beverage menu while you wait for your appointment. They will take your drink order, which will be brought to you later.
When it’s time to enter, you’ll put your shoes and socks into a cubby, and get a pair of slippers. You’ll be guided to your chair(s) - each set of chairs is sectioned off with curtains, so you’ll likely hear other people quietly in the background, but there is white noise and background music helping you to relax. For the two of us, we had two chairs together that were private.
You’ll be given a few minutes to change into robes. Then your bath will arrive.
The chairs are large, comfy armchairs, which are elevated. The height is such that they can wheel your hot bath in to be placed in front of you. Soon after the bath arrives, your tea order will arrive. Along the way, someone will come around with fresh hot water to top up your bath.
After an hour or so of soaking, it’ll be time for your massage, then foot/lower-leg scrub. Zoe and Liz handled our massages and scrubs and both were excellent.
Excellent relaxing and rejuvenating experience! I hope to come back.

Incredible foot and lower leg massage after a ski weekend and a full operating room week, plus yummy tea! The staff provide a warm shoulder wrap as well, and you get to soak in a private curtained area which was exactly the soothing break I needed midway through a 13-day straight work stretch. Fiancé treated me to a soak and massage for my birthday, wish there was a location near my home hospital!

Seriously amazing. Liz was incredible. She deserves a raise and a huge bonus! I struggle with weekly migraines and tense shoulders/jaw clenching. Her shoulder/neck massage was so on target. After a 40 minute session with her, I immediately booked another 20. She is phenomenal at what she does! The space was comfortable and relaxing. Good vibes all around

I didn't actually get to get a spa treatment because nobody answers the phone. I let the front desk attendant know that their phones didn't seem to be working, and she blew it off.
It looks like it could be a cool spot, but I won't be back. Their blase faire (wordplay) attitude of customers is unattractive.
