SILO salon and staff are amazing. Fun, friendly atmosphere. From my in-depth consultation to the flawless final product, Alexa always makes my hair dreams come true. I’ve had extensions, wedding hair, fashion colors and makeup services. They are full service experts. So much that for 4 yrs if college my son drove from Fargo to Bismarck just to get his hair done here !!

This was my first time at Silo Salon, and also my daughters first ever hair cut. Malarie was amazing! She was full of insight and great information on my new cut and products. She let my daughter watch me step by step and kept her involved so she wouldn’t be nervous for her haircut. My daughter loved the whole experience. We will definitely be going back for regular visits ❤️

Great atmosphere with friendly staff, and easy scheduling... they often have same-day appointments available.
++ Their AVEDA products are all ethically sourced. 10/10 would highly recommend.

When I first moved back to Bismarck, I was overwhelmed by the thought of finding a new stylist. Since I love Aveda products and I know they do amazing training, I decided to try Silo Salon. I also wanted a salon that stays current on trends and styles. After reading the bios and looking through portfolios, I chose Krista and I am so glad I did. She has done a wonderful job each time I have visited but more importantly she listens carefully to my concerns and description of what type of cut I want. She also takes the time needed with my thick hair... which can be a chore. Her work is on par with the stylists I had in Minneapolis and the customer service has been great....so I will definitely be back. Five stars!

I always leave the salon feeling amazing. It is overall a great experience, I am always happy with my hair’s color and cut. Not only that, Alexa goes above and beyond to help me find the right products to use at home.
If you are getting married keep them in mind. Their team came to Medora for my wedding and did a fabulous job with make-up and hair. They were easy to work with and very flexible.

This is the best salon in Bismarck! The entire team is amazing… starting with their receptionist, who always gets me an appointment in a timely manner to the awesome stylists that never disappoint. This salon is top notch in education, ability and talent! The prices are also very reasonable. You won’t regret making an appointment with any of the highly capable stylists at Silo!

It's been over a decade that I've gone to Silo (formerly Fabulous). What got me through the door that first time was a recommendation from a co-worker. What's kept me going back all these years is consistent top notch service. They've taken my long, curly mane from dark to light and back again more times than I dare count. Always walk out with healthy and fashionable locks. Even when I don't hardly have time for myself, they find time to fit me in. Much as I travel and have accessibility to other salons, even when I lived elsewhere, I still went and go to Silo. Even when I walk in looking like a disaster, I walk out feeling all fancy-like. This is a great place if you want a high-quality, personable hair styling experience. Or waxing! They are fabulous for all the things :) Now, quit reading and book your appointment already!
