Rustic and charming rooms, they give you a warm choco chip cookies upon check in. Staff is friendly and the Snowy Mountain Brewery pub staff is even friendlier. It seems that they minimize their menu to only essentials, which they do expertly. The crab bisque bread bowl was presented beautifully and the wedge salad with streak was wonderful. Really great martinis not much of a beer drinker so did not try them. Now to the pools... the teepees allow privacy but medium and big pools are at great temps to stay in long. You will be relaxed! Also the breakfast buffet and cook to order breakfast is included!! One if our favorite hot spring around.

My wife and I spent three nights at SHSR and enjoyed ourselves, but the experience could have been better. We appreciated that the resort had everything we needed on site: lodging, restaurant/bar, spa, fitness center and the hot springs. We really enjoyed learning about all the historical facts surrounding the resort and the staff at the resort were all very friendly and helpful. The multiple hot spring options were a pleasure, and the spa services were very professional. The addition of a complimentary breakfast each morning was a great start to the day with multiple dining options. We, also, enjoyed the drinks we ordered at the bar/brewery.||The two areas we feel need improvement are the mattress and pillow options in the room and the dinner food we had in the evening. The mattress in our room was as hard and basic of a mattress as we've slept on in a property in quite some time. The pillow options were just as bad. We had three nights of very poor sleep, never waking up feeling refreshed. Our food choices were just as bad; an overcooked burger, a tasteless, undercooked pizza and a spinach salad drowned in olive oil instead of a light balsamic vinaigrette dressing. |Overall, we enjoyed our first time stay at the resort and exploring the Saratoga area, but we are hopeful that these areas could be addressed before a return trip.

This little spot was a great find! We loved it! Very affordable. It’s definitely RUSTIC but very clean and well kept. I loved the old west theme. You can tell it’s a very old place with a lot of history but very well maintained. The hot springs were right outside our room. We loved the option of the hot springs in the TeePee, it was very private and quiet. The employees were SO KIND. There is a little restaurant/brewery attached to it with amazing food and amazing beverages. The breakfast was included with phenomenal food as well. We had never been to Saratoga and it’s the cutest little town! Will definitely come back to stay and try the snowmobiles across the street!

Really unique place. Cool hot spring pools to get in. Clean rooms. Brewery on site with good beers and food. Rustic lodge decor. Great if you are traveling with kids. They had hours of fun in the hot spring pools.

We decided to do something special for our wedding anniversary, which is also New Years Eve, and stay the night here. The pools were nice, hot and clean. With the private pools being a plus. The room was cute and simple with basic direct tv. Our biggest problem was the prime rib buffet that we paid over $100 for two people. We were sat at a table and not a single server offered us anything to drink for over 30 minutes. Not even water. So we ate our cold prime rib and half baked potato. By the time we were done with dinner a server came by to fill our non-exsistant waters. 15 minutes later the manager brings our cocktails that we ordered and asked how things were. At this point I just told him they were fine I guess because we just wanted to leave and have some drinks at the bar instead. The lack of accountability left much to be desired of an already expensive lack luster meal.

This was our 3rd stay at Saratoga Lodge. As before, we had a GREAT time. We did notice improvements around the Lodge, both inside and outside. The staff was amazing, food was awesome and the hot springs and pool were very relaxing. Chef, thank you for all that you did to make our stay special. We visited several downtown businesses, made a few purchases and enjoyed talking to the locals who are VERY nice people.

Have you ever stepped into a Hallmark movie before? This place is pure magic. We couldn’t decide which pool was our favorite, each has a different feel. The room was comfy and we couldn’t believe how much room the king bed had (we sleep a queen at home). We loved the grounds and the buildings too, the trophy room was so fun! Breakfast buffet was 11/10. Lots of meat and real eggs. There was plenty of everything. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back to visit again.

We ate dinner at this rustic and probably spendy lodge on the Platte River. The hamburgers, beer and outside dining were great. However a big windstorm came up and made things a little too exciting. When we went in to pay our bill most diners had moved inside! We talked to a local guy later in service station; he used to work at the resort and said the location on the river makes it very prone to wind storms. So choose your night carefully!
