My family and I just celebrated my son's 7th birthday at Samoset Resort - and it was perfect! The place is really clean and well maintained. The room was phenomenal - especially the hot tub overlooking the water. Pretty hard to beat that!||For the kids, they had so much to keep them happy - swimming in the huge indoor pool, playing games in the game room, exploring the grounds. Lots of good options at the restaurant for both kids and adults. And the staff was incredible from check-in to check-out. ||Can't think of anything better on a cold weekend than to spend it at Samoset. Highly recommend!

Many thanks to Connie GM and Trey Front desk for helping to create a great birthday weekend for my wife. The room upgrade was amazing. The pizza at the lounge was excellent as always, and Carrie’s birthday dinner at the restaurant was soo good. We truly appreciate all you have done for us and love sharing our special moments with you.

Comfortable low key resort in beautiful setting. Adjacent to the Rockland Breakwater Light and its trail. Very good area for birding. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Dog-friendly, including a welcome bag. One of our dog's favorite places and one she hates to leave. Close to very good restaurants in Rockport and Rockland. Great oceanside golf course in season and don't miss Primo and 0 km when they are open from May to early January. Spa, gym, indoor and outdoor pools.

In a show of class and loyalty the owners and staff of Samoset hosted my grieving friends and myself
For a memorial for the ages. We all lost a loved family member, friend and Samoset lost there beloved
F&B director of the last 21 years.
I was personally touched by the entire staff and how professional everyone was.
True hospitality
My thanks to all

Fantastic view of water, lots of walking trails, short and long to enjoy weather and scenery. Nice golf course and tennis, pickleball courts. Indoor pool all well kept (too dang cold and snow to do golf or tennis).
Staff was amazing, above and beyond helpful and friendly.
Loads of local eateries to explore and a terrific place to go out and explore landmarks and interesting places.
Restaurant onsite (closed when we went.)
We went in March (cold, cold, cold). But still warm and comfy in spacious open rooms, nice layout, kitchenettes perfect for when not in the mood to go out.
One negative, no elevator to bottom rooms, rest of facilities no problem.
A very nice place to rest ye weary bones.

We've stayed at Samoset for the last 3 years during the kiddos Feb vacation, and it's always been a great experience. We rent a time share from friends, single bedroom unit with living room and small kitchen. Just the right size for a week long stay in the area. Even in the off season there's plenty to do. Lots of food and shopping opportunities in-town and nearby, and lighthouses to go check out (weather permitting). The resort has a heated indoor pool/hot tub, gym, and game/activities area that the kiddos enjoy. Highly recommended.

We came for the ice bar. The place was packed with hundreds of people enjoying all the festivities. The grounds were beautiful, ice sculptures everywhere, heat towers &igloos. Landscaping adorned with lights.
A very nice experience.
We decided not to eat there & went elsewhere. The menus looked awesome as I watched some people enjoy their appetizers.
It was very slippery- The staff was diligently placing rock salt all around. It was difficult for me to get around with my cane but I managed not to fall😊

I stayed there for the fifth time at the end of January. Each time is as magical as the first. The staff is second to none, along with the magnificent views. I forgot a bag of winter clothing in my closet. I called the resort and received my items, as neatly packed as could be that week. This staff is definitely top shelf. I mentioned paying them to mail it to me and that was not to be heard of. Samoset Resort, you will have my business every year I am lucky enough to get there. Thanks again.
