Oh my goodness I always have the best experience when coming to this salon! The staff is super friendly. I’ve been an off and on client of Mandy’s for going on 20 years now and I have never had a bad cut or color with her. She is kind attentive and just an overall skilled stylist! My hair was an over processed bleached mess and she took the time and effort to make me look and feel beautiful again!

The salon was clean and my bed was heated and super comfortable. Nichole was very nice and easy to talk to. I recently went there to do my eyebrow waxing because my old one retired so it was my first time going to someone else for years. Nichole did a great job with shaping but I think the wax might have been the problem since she needed to do it twice. I pay $17 for this service.

John did a fantastic job! Professional skill level, nail shape is clean and consistent. Really appreciate his level of detail.

Kristen did amazing for a massage for both my wife and I. She wasn't too light on the pressure but also wasn't digging into my skin like I've had others do in the past. She knew just the right amount of pressure to get the results without a lot of pain. The receptionists up front were very helpful and friendly. I will be back for massages in the future!

My first time to this salon and it is very nice and clean. The staff were all friendly. They are very fair priced considering what other prices I saw in town. Jill cut my hair and she was FABULOUS. She was very nice and friendly and my haircut turned out even better than I expected. I will be back to Jill specifically. I highly recommend this salon and Jill!

I got my hair dyed purple and a week and a half later it is all out there’s nothing but my natural hair color and this is so crazy because I expected higher quality than my small town hair salon because the one I got done in my small town lasted 2 1/2 years and also when I called to schedule an appointment, she said her estimate is 115 and it ended up being over 200. I am really disappointed.

I got my hair done at Salon Essentials at the end of June, and it was the worst experience. I went in and showed the stylist a picture of the cut and style I wanted, and I was shocked at the end of the appointment by how different it was from that. However, when I got home, I discovered she had styled my hair in a way that hid the fact that my face-framing pieces had been fried completely off! I was horrified. She did not speak up or say that these pieces had fallen out. My hair had some previous color in it when I arrived and the stylist knew this, so she did two test strips. She told me that the color lifted perfectly fine and we could go ahead with the highlights. I paid for the extra conditioning treatment, but my hair is still extremely brittle and dry. I called the salon to speak to a manager and/or the owner, and when I asked for a refund she informed me that it was against their policy, but I could come in to get my hair redone. I did NOT want them to touch my hair again. She told me I could email the salon at their Gmail and send them the pictures to review, which I did, and said to call the following Monday to speak to the owner. On Monday, their staff lied to me saying the owner wasn't in the office (she was), but said she would call me back if I left my number. That never happened. My hair fried off. I did not get my money back. I have to live with her mistake for months if not a year now. This was a terrible experience. Please know that if they respond to this review--what I’ve said is true and I will not be coming in to get my hair “fixed.” I have included pictures.

Jill is unprofessional and should be re-evaluated. As a professional you should be consulting with your clients and truly finding out what they want. The haircut was not at all what they asked for and quite frankly was rushed and very clearly sloppily done. No matter the excuse the haircut was unprofessional and ultimately disappointing.
