I've been going to Red Beauty for many years & can vouch that it's the best salon in town! I see Amy, who has so much knowledge & talent & listens to exactly what you want. Everyone from the receptionist to the person who washes your hair is the absolute sweetest & most professional. I highly recommend Red Beauty Lounge!

This salon costs twice as much as any other salon because of where they are located but do not expect to get twice as good of a job on your hair. They are mediocre at best. I came here once and have never been back. They really need better quality hairdressers with a ton of experience to match what they expect you to pay and tip. I felt completely ripped off and like they got one over on me. Never again. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I believe all of the hairstylists and colorists at Red Salon are top notch! Personally I can vouch for Juli and Laurabeth. Laurabeth just cut my hair and did an amazing job as usual. As soon as she took the cape off I felt like I needed to go change clothes. If your hair is suddenly so cute that you feel underdressed… for me… that is a telltale sign of a great haircut!! :D

By far the worst highlight job I have ever had . I am a natural brown and asked for full highlights - a touch up of my normal blonde highlights. I normally do not get toner because my hair bleaches well and I told her this upfront. She bleached my entire head to where there was not a brown hair left - zero dimension. Then, when washing it out, realized she over-bleached so the top half of my head and all the areas she had turned blonde that were previously brown were very white blonde - significantly blonder than my original blonde (and damaged). To try and remedy this discoloration, she used a toner which turned my hair orange. When I left, the top part of my head was significantly blonder than the bottom half with orange splotches throughout and zero brown left/no dimension. I also had to leave with wet hair. When it dried and I looked in the mirror, I was mortified. I called to try and get it fixed by someone else at the salon, but they refused to let someone else fix it, said the lady that did it could look at it to see if it could be fixed and that we could talk about a price to fix it, and said that because I asked for full highlights it was my fault there was no dimension. I immediately called another salon to get it fixed. Upon seeing my hair, the lady I asked to fix it said the lady at Red significantly damaged my hair with the botched color job. Very disappointed.

This was my first time there. The salon was highly recommended by my friends that had had Kaity do services for them. I went in for some pink high lights or streaks. She did a fabulous job on the high lights/lightening for color. She was very meticulous in getting the high lights to look natural and not overbearing. Even though the ones at the very bottom, at my neck, where she started look a little burnt. As for the pink - I think she went a little too easy on, I guess because I had never had colors in my hair and maybe my age. I was looking for PINK, that could be seen. When I tell people I got some pink put in my hair - they ask, where. So I'm a little disappointed in the color, you pretty much can't see it. She cut my hair also, and the cut is great. Just the right length and just enough layering to make it look good. All in all, she did a great job. UPDATE: After they read my review they called me in so that they could make things right. Kaity painstakingly went back through my hair and got the highlighted parts of my hair and targeted just those and put a Pink color on them. She did a fantastic job. I guess it's my hair, it just doesn't want to be pink. It is now a beautiful shade of purple, and I love it! Kaity is the best! 💜

I recently had the pleasure of having an appointment with Marlee today. She did great work and I appreciate the time she took to make sure she was thorough with my highlights. I literally refuse to ever go to anyone else. That’s how happy I am with them. I’ve had many bad experiences with salons and she’s definitely put those anxieties at ease. If you book, book with Marlee. 🩷 Thank you girl.

I made an appointment to get my hair permed. Was very specific about what I wanted and even showed pictures of my fresh perm from the previous year as an example of the tight curls I wanted. The young lady who permed my hair was very sweet but unfortunately did not do a good job. When rolling my hair, there were random strands of hair that weren’t even in the rollers. She fixed a few and continued to roll my hair barley wet which was causing lots of frizz. When she started applying the perm to my hair I informed her that my normal lady uses 2 bottles due to my hair being long and thick. She then told me that she was moving fast and distributing the solution evenly so there would be no need for a 2nd bottle. After everything was finished and I made it home, I noticed that my hair was not curly at all as it started to dry. But instead it was crinkled/ wavy. I called immediately to express my concern as well as sent photos. I was told to wait a few days. 3days later on Saturday, I called the salon and asked to speak with the owner about my hair not being done properly and asked about a refund considering I paid $250 (which was $100 more than I usually pay at a different salon) plus a tip. I explained I didn’t feel comfortable putting more solution in my hair to fix the issue out of fear of damaging my hair. I was told that the owner would be the only one who could issue a refund but I would have to wait until Tuesday morning for her to reach out. I never received that call. Not even a text expressing concern. I then called around lunchtime and was told the manager wouldn’t be in until 12:30-1pm. I drove 20 minutes back to the salon just to me brushed off and told that she (the owner) already knew the story but then said she didn’t know anything about my issues until today. And then proceeded to tell me “I don’t have time for this” as I’m trying to speak to her and show her the photos. Yet how dare I be upset about my hair and being given the run around for days. Seems like the owner and manager (who was also rude) have ZERO concern when they take someone’s hard earned money and expect them to deal with a lousy overpriced service. *First 3 pictures compared to last year’s photo of getting my hair permed in *tight curls. BIG DIFFERENCE.
