I booked through ClassPass and was pleasantly surprised. It's no frills (you share a room with another client, for example) but my appointment ended up being 90 minutes of a very good facial and massage. The extractions were very good and were on par to a $200 facial I got in NYC.

Rachel‘s great, she‘s very nice and attentive to individual needs, and the work she puts in, feels like she‘s got her spirit in there. But other staffs, were okay; I don‘t have a good first impression of Mai, but she might have improved her methods over the couple months I haven’t seen her.
Specific instructions and verbal needs are also very helpful when working with Rachel and her staffs, since they do keep your needs in their mind to find a good middle ground as well. For me, my skin was really sensitive and it was hurting easily during deep cleansing, but Rachel and the other staff heeded my request and they did great

Unprofessional! Booked my appointment on classpass like a few days ahead, when i got there they told me they had to moved my appointment since they had an other costumer. She said she emailed me last night or yesterday to reschedule but I never got the email!! Was so excited for this appointment but it turned out drove 20mins for nothing. Dont even get that if they have another costumer at 9am why would they even bother to accept my appointment on classpass. The lady even said since you didn’t reply my email I just have my costumer come at 9.like what?!? Then you have me drive for 20mins just to tell me my appointment got cancelled in my face?!?!UNPROFESSIONAL AND BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I haven’t had any facial experience with them yet but I do think that they are not as professional when it comes to customer service.

I had an appointment scheduled and they canceled my appointment when I told her it was my only free time cause I work three jobs. I think it is rude. The time frame should have never been an option if she was going to be busy. I think it is poor customer service and ridiculous. She acted as if I was going to go. It would have been my first time there but i think it's not worth it if they just cancel your appointment and don't bother to try to accommodate.

When I was at Tufts Medical a friend suggested this salon, and even though I know work in Longwood I continue to get facials here. I love their facials. They are very thorough and precise. I have oilier skin and like to get facials for cleansing and pore extraction. I have been to swanky spas with much more expensive services but none, in my experience, are as good as Rachel Beauty. One of the best things about getting a facial here is the scalp, temple, shoulder, and upper back massage while wearing a mask. Don't let the humble looking salon fool you, the facials are perfect.

No frills type of place, but amazing service by the owner Rachel! In Hong Kong, facials are essential for most women on a routine basis, it’s like seeing your skin doctor so don’t compare this to an expensive spa experience.

Very high quality service, compares favorably to more upscale places. Wonderful massage and treatment. The place is very neat and tidy
