Had a 5 star experience at Portal Salon with a scalp facial! As soon as you walk in the door you feel a calm ambience. Sound healing during the scalp facial and work with meridians leaves you feeling amazing. Ended with a blow out with Christina and I look and feel amazing! I can't wait to go back!

Starr was wonderful guiding me back into the process of dying my hair (it had been a few years.) She offered me recommendations on options for more color (brighter, lighter, bolder, etc.) for my next appointment. The haircut itself was amazing! I was open to anything, and she definitely knew how to deal with my straight hair. I did not feel rushed along, nor was there any pressure to buy added products. I can’t wait for me next visit, I think I’ve finally found my hair goddesses! The salon is gorgeous! Everything is clean, the waiting area couches are so comfortable (I really want the green one for my house 😆) All the staff I encountered were really friendly and fun, the other clients were nice and you can tell there’s very talented women working here. You will not leave this salon disappointed!

Christina is great! Her scalp treatments are beyond your imagination , she did a curly cut on my 17yr old and taught him boys to maintain his curls and her breath work is magic … love her !

Christina and crew at The Red Door provide exceptional personal service. They'll work with you to ensure you walk out with the cut, color and style that works perfectly for you. The space is warm and spacious making your time in the salon enjoyable. The location is convenient to get to. Going south on the Parkway (with the new overpass) just make sure to take the Byrd Spring exit which is about a mile away. The parking is convenient - I've never had to walk far. Highly recommend!

Samantha brought my Lisa Frank fantasies to life, and brought my hair in general back from the brink of extinction. Self haircuts in covid were hard yall ok? Samantha also let me color which actually helped so much to kill processing time and was a genuinely appreciable human being. Everyone should go to Sam, unless you are boring or don't tip well. Then maybe try great clips. Oh also look at that cutie rainbow clip she gave me!

First off, the salon is really cool. Amazing vibes! And Starr was absolutely amazing. She came in on her day off because I needed a last minute appointment to get my hair done for my anniversary. I was a first time client top! Talk about going above and beyond. She did a really pretty and fun style with curls and viking braids that was perfect for me and my personality. Could not have been happier!

Allison is amazing! She always has great suggestions on how to keep my hair looking it’s best. I receive so many compliments on my copper color that she has customized for me! She is so easy to talk to and makes the experience fun and relaxing! She is hands down the best stylist I’ve ever seen.
