Planet Salon and Spa Beaumont

My daughter and I had an amazing experience with Shah and Michael @ Planet Salon Beaumont! We highly recommend both hairstylists. Shah was so good with my daughter and made her walk out feeling confident and looking amazing! I really enjoyed getting to know Michael while he did my hair. He was super friendly and easy to talk to. He definitely gave me the cut I’ve been wanting and needing. Thanks from the West Virginia gals!!

Planet Salon is honestly such a comfort place for me. They keep their salon clean, welcoming, cheerful, and relaxing, every single person who works there has always been kind and and caring of me. The products I buy from here are always impeccable and do just what I need! I’ve been seeing Angelia M. as my stylist for the past few years and I am truly blessed to have her in my life! She greets me with open arms and warm smiles. Angelia is so wonderful, she’s considerate, passionate, funny, and has a magical touch when it comes to hair! She always goes above and beyond my expectations and I’m always blown away with how gorgeous my hair is. I just know whenever I come, I’ll leave looking and feeling my absolute best!!

A for effort, but I won’t be returning. I booked for a cut and balayage. Somehow my stylist thought baby highlights would achieve the look I wanted. It just made my hair look a half shade lighter. So he tried to fix it, which made it lighter and added a handful of random chunky highlights to the root. The cut was also much shorter than we discussed, and it looks like just a blunt cut rather than the long layers I asked for. I expressed my disappointment and was scheduled for a fix with someone else. Great. I was hopeful again. Two very nice girls did put in a lot of effort to fix the mess. But I’m now pretty much just back to boring brown hair, and the balayage look just isn’t there. I hate leaving reviews like this. But I’m so disappointed that after 4 tries, and $179 + tips for both appointments, it ended up looking like I hadn’t done much of anything. I guess I could have complained again, but I didn’t want any more damage done to my hair. I just thanked them and left. Included are my finished hair and my inspo pics. Despite the response from planet salon, as of 12/5/24 nobody has contacted me. Not a surprise given others have said the same. I expected much better from a salon with that charges this much. At this point I’m left with fading color because they insisted Demi permanent color was best to correct the original screw up, and despite using the products they pushed on me to maintain a look I never wanted. This has been the worst experience. Do not go here!!!!

I've seen Shah now a couple of times, and I am so looking forward to our next appt! He really listens and knows how to explain what he does so I feel confident about doing it myself later. He knows his stuff and I absolutely trust him when I have questions about - ANYTHING! Shah is a true artist through and through! Thanks so much Shah for putting so much heart into your art! Planet Salon is really lucky to have you and I'm so glad they scheduled us! 😀

Everyone at Planet Salon is just amazing! You can’t really go wrong with anyone at any level for hair. From the front desk to the owners it’s a 5 star establishment. Definitely go see Allie and Indigo for your facial and waxing needs!

Austin did an AMAZING job with my hair today. He really listened to what I wanted and corrected a bad haircut I got elsewhere. I also love the salon bc it is so pretty and neat. The receptionist was also very friendly.great salon!

I have been with Michael S. for years. He’s so freaking awesome and I love every time he does my hair. Everyone at the salon is so nice and it’s a relaxing environment.
