Was my first time to this location since I was in town visiting I did the 30 minute foot rub. The lady did a pretty good job could have applied more pressure to bottoms of my feet and calve area. A little bit of mall noise but nothing to complain. However when checking out I used my debit card for tap and wrote down the tip amount of $5.00! The lady grabbed a paper suggesting 18% tip which rubbed me the wrong way. Also if you pay with cash you avoid additional card fee.

Love this place. Been going for years. I’m looking for a new place because the aggressive pressure to tip 25% after the massage. It’s manipulation and it’s so unpleasant after a nice massage. I could explain the 25% would be a generous tip even for someone at a restaurant making below minimum wage, but I don’t think it would land. Major cultural disconnect happening. I have to wonder what the massage therapists are being paid…

I have been coming to Paradise Spa in Towson Mall for at least three years and have found it to be a great value. Really thorough/good deep tissue massage that is coming from some Chinese medical be tradition for the very low price of $1 a minute (recommend 60 minutes). Workers are skilled and quiet while they work (with minimal English) and the space is open-plan, clean and well run. It’s unicorn in mall massage places: serious, cheap, low-overhead.

We have been going here for a while now to get a good massage. Some language barrier but we always have a good experience. Highly recommended.

The service here is amazing. I am always greeted with a smile and they give me estimate of wait time. They have a comfortable couch for waiting and I helped myself to tea and water. Nancy has a customer right before me and took me back right away. She has so much strength and I can’t thank her enough. She worked out all my shoulder knots and then spent extra time even after the timer went off to make sure I was comfortable. This location is in a mall so don’t expect it to be silient - they have a nice curtain and folding walls between the tables but it is a clothes on open massage. I think this massage is better than the twice the price massages from other places. Communication is important because these massages are firm - let them know if you need it lighter, softer or areas to not massage. I notice people assume they don’t speak English - stay calm and explain - someone there can translate. However, the staff speak English and most understand what you’re saying they are just being quite to respect other guests. Be kind, I bet you don’t know another Language and if you had to work in another language imagine that. Their care and professionalism are matched by great technique. I can’t wait to return. I have been many times!

I'm actually impressed with the level of expertise at a mall joint. However, watch out for their tip scam. They'll go in pairs to the check out and try to pressure you to leave a tip, although you're paying them almost $2 a minute for the massage.
