LaJeune & Philip gives 5 stars but 10 stars ⭐️ service at New Moon Spa. The massages were top tier, sauna & hot tube was icing on the cake and so to speak! Clean towels, robes, offered tea or coffee& water. The staff were so very kind and helpful. We recommend this place for your pampering needs! Relax & Enjoy! 💋

Sept 23, 2022 We really enjoyed our services and the amenities while at New Moon Spa! The facial put me to sleep even though I was trying really hard to stay awake so I could enjoy the experience. I loved using the sauna and the hot tub and the swimming pool. It's really nice that the spot is attached to the hotel see you can just walk home after your treatment. I was grateful for the careful attention I received from Kimberly at New Moon Spa after I posted a one-star rating and left a review detailing my frustrations with scheduling an appointment at the spa. I've left my original review below this update. My husband and I arrived early for our appointment. We were greeted at the front desk and given paperwork to fill out. Now we are sitting and waiting for our appointment to begin. I guess they don't have a shower room where you can take a relaxing shower and change into a fluffy robe before your service. That's too bad. Or at least, if they do offer that amenity, we were not offered an opportunity to enjoy a shower or a fluffy road before a service. The staff are pretty matter of fact in their demeanor and dressed very casually in blue jeans, leggings, t-shirts, etc. The lavender smell when you walk into this spa is amazing in my opinion. The furniture and decor is a bit shabby and dated in my opinion. I really liked the clever use of a giant crystal in lieu of logs in the fireplace. I love all of the beautiful details in the architecture of the old building. I thought the choice of loud rock music was odd for a spa lobby. With the lavender in the air, I would have thought maybe they would be playing spa relaxation music. The noisy music is a bit jarring rather than relaxing or soothing, in my opinion. The lobby has lots of candles and cosmetics and other items for sale. It's nice that you can kind of browse around while you're waiting for your appointment. I think there is also an area with tea and water to drink. None of the staff invited us to have a drink though, so I feel a little hesitant to go over and check out the drink area. As of now, I think I would probably update my rating to 3 stars. I would give five stars for the customer service I received from Kimberly and two stars for the ambiance and customer service I've received in the lobby so far. Hopefully the services we receive will be great though! We enjoyed the reflexology massage and both of our therapists were very friendly. My therapist, lexi, carefully explained what to expect and what to do and I thought she did a nice job on the massage. I'm glad that I got the massage because I've never experienced a reflexology massage before. July/August, 2022 After spending lots of time reviewing the website for spas in Eureka Springs, I decided to book 4 spa treatments at New Moon Spa, because it seemed to have the best amenities in town. I called yesterday, July 31st, during regular business hours to book my appointment for my first wedding anniversary next month. A person answered the phone. I said I was calling to book some spa treatments for the weekend of September 25th. The person asked my name and phone number. The person promised to call me back later. I still have not received a call back. I noticed some negative reviews for the New Moon Spa. I wanted to give the spa a chance anyway. I guess the negative reviews were accurate concerning customer service however. I'm really disappointed because I was hoping to enjoy some spa treatments on my first wedding anniversary.

Lovely experience. I booked a last minute hour long massage the day before and Sierra was my massage therapist. She was very warm and friendly and incredibly skilled. Would highly recommend!

I’ve had ALOT of massages, but this year, this massage was absolutely the best. We generally go ahead of time and sit in the infrared sauna, that is always amazing. We didn’t have time this year. The spa is always a busy place. But I do love the separate areas for hot tub, quaint space for showers and sauna. We did the couples room and it was perfect this year. Two separate rooms, but connected with a restroom. Massage therapists were amazing.

My husband and I had a couples massage on 10/22, he with Ann and me with Tina. We’ve both had many many massages before and this was the BEST! He was been suffering from back and neck issues for months and after the massage, sauna and spa was pain free, unbelievable! Both are highly skilled and trained professionals who carefully listened to our needs. Book your appointment now!!!

It’s very difficult to leave a bad review, especially if you are a local. But I think it’s fair to warn people, especially those who have waited a long time to do something special for themselves. This salon has cosmetologists who are NOT trained to do what they are attempting. First of all, 5 stars to Jordan for getting me in for a revision and 5 stars to Sarah for fixing as best she could my very bad color/foil. My two stars are for why a cosmologist was allowed to do what they did?. I believe people expect a certain level of expertise in a salon such as this. I spent 2.5 YEARS growing out my hair. Healthy, untouched hair. I brought many pictures of what I wanted, and even examples of what I didn’t want. The result was closer to what I didn’t want, and worse. Sarah did what she could, but this is a disaster. I guess I will spend another two years growing my hair out, and hoping again. There was no charge for the redo, but felt it fair to tip the second time. All over and $300 gone. If you schedule at this salon, ask very specific questions about the experience of the stylist you are scheduling with if you are new here, because it’s a gamble. I am posting the before revision pics, although the revision is still pretty awful. The first two pics are the first attempt, the last few are the second attempt. Edit: Please empower your staff to let a client know if the pictures a client shows is beyond their skill set. It will save a lot of heartaches.

I got my wedding hair and makeup done here and it was a wonderful experience! Beth did my pedicure and my makeup and it looked flawless. She was sure to check in with me and make sure that I loved everything she was doing. Nick did my hair and he was WONDERFUL. He made my hair look even better than I thought it could! He was lovely to talk to, very kind, and very fun. I am pretty tender headed and he was so gentle, I never felt a thing. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married in Eureka Springs!

The New Moon Spa is a full service spa and salon that is tucked beneath the infamous Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Certainly, this is a fine salon setting, and the staff are competent. My only complaint is that my checking out, after services, was tedious and time consuming. It was almost painful. As I checked out, I felt that I had unwittingly slipped into some sort of internal conflict. the cashier was critical and short. This is not what someone paying for the services of a fully priced salon would expect. Even more, it is not the atmosphere or the take-away experience that one desires in a spa venue, where everything should be calm and peaceful. That being said, the place where the hair salon sits is lovely. It was once an old bowling alley. I may be incorrect, but I believe that the bowling alley era was as long ago as the turn of the 19th to the 20th century. You can still see the inlaid wood where the lanes stretched through this part of the building. The Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs is a popular wedding venue. Next to the hair salon is a bridal room where the bridal party can primp and prepare for their special day. Within the hair salon, clients can also schedule make up services. For that, the products are Bare Minerals. Aveda products are used in the hair salon. Probably the thing that is most special about the hair salon is its windowed wall that overlooks the gorgeous St. Elizabeth Church and the spectacular Ozark Mountains beyond.
