Morgan Ford Massage & Spa

Booked a 60-minute massage at the Webster Groves Location. I usually go to Soulard or Morganford but they didn't have availability. While waiting for the therapist the spa manager and front desk staff were gossiping about other locations. The massage room was cold, there's a fan directly above the table which has never been the case for other locations, or at least I didn't notice it. The room also has LOW ceilings so the fan is noticeable so it was cold. I could smell cigarette smoke on the therapist for most of the massage, which is unpleasant to deal with. The other locations have more comfortable rooms and the therapists either don't smoke or you can't tell if they do. Would recommend Soulard or Morganford over Webster.

I love my massages at the Webster location with Josh. He's the best! I signed up for the monthly membership and it was the best decision I ever made- it helps me keep my self care a priority. I highly recommend Morgan Ford!

Would not recommend the full body mud wrap. The description gives you the impression that the mud is applied, then you are wrapped in a heat blanket to help your body relase toxins and pollutants but the mud was removed after only a few minutes and we felt cold the whole time. The massages were ok.

Went for a 60 minute massage and it was the worst massage I have ever had. Zero pressure despite me asking for more. Every area I asked for focus on was completely ignored. The only areas done for my “full body” massage were mid-back, feet, calves, and next to my knee (still confused why that was focused on at all). For half the massage I was asked to lay on my back which was very odd and frankly uncomfortable, then she rubbed my throat/the front of my neck which besides being super weird it felt like she was trying to choke me (ironically the only time any pressure was used). For my feet she simply ran the backs of her fingers lightly across my arches a couple times and called it a day. It genuinely felt like she was just applying lotion to me for an hour, you really can’t call it a massage considering the lack of pressure. I was more tense afterwards than when I went in. Update: 6+ weeks later and they never reached out to me as they said they would in their comment on this review. I’m fine with that since I don’t want to return there but thought it was worth sharing that there was an acknowledgment but no actual attempt to make things right.

Another great experience with May. She was able to work my upper body and help my full body relax

First time I went it was nice and second time it was not. The massage therapist didn't use oil or lotion and I still have several knots in my back I literally paid for it because I didn't want any trouble but I almost got up in middle of my massage and walked out. I have massages every 2 weeks and I have never had a massage the way it was when I came there the other day. It almost seemed like she didn't even know what she was doing. Also the bedding seemed like it had not been washed it smelled and now I have a yeast infection in my belly button .

I had my first ever facial scheduled at Morganford Spa - Webster Groves. I unfortunately tested positive for covid late evening before my facial the next morning. I called in and initially was told the 100% same day cancellation cost stood but ultimately provided my covid+ results & was able to reschedule for when I was covid negative. I went for my appointment this evening. I was greeted at the front by Mary. She went over some of the product line that Holly would be using in the waiting area, offered me water, and a nice place to wait prior to my facial. I then had the Farmhouse Facial with Holly. It was absolutely relaxing & Holly was great! 10/10 recommend. I left relaxed and with a a few new products for myself & to gift.

My husband made a 60 min massage appointment for me over the phone. He spoke to someone with a female voice who scheduled the same day appointment. My husband double checked with the person on the line the date, time, location (Webster Groves), and the person who would be doing the massage (Holly). I arrive 10 minutes before appointment and wait for my turn to check in. When it's my turn, the receptionist first says that I am 45 min late for my 90min massage but they can still get me in for the remaining time. I told her my last name again, she had mistaken me for another Elizabeth; no big deal. Then she can't find my appointment and says Holly doesn't even do massages. She can't find my appointment at all. She then tries to call a manager for several minutes and no one picks up or answers through their messaging system. I felt bad for her because no one was communicating with her. She takes my information and says that a manager will call me soon. It's been 2 days and I haven't heard from anyone. My family has been coming here off and on since we've moved to WG 7 years ago. We especially liked Molly who has given exceptional care. After this experience, it's clear there is major problems with organization and communication and my time is valuable to me. My family and I will be trying another WG spa in the future.
