Highly highly recommend this place for an authentic japanese head spa treatment. I did the mio essential and blow dry with Yuri. Yuri was very experienced & massaged my scalp so nicely that I was so relaxed & dozed off. I love the steaming process and the scalp massages. I also love that the products they use (milbon) are made in japan & they smell so nice and made my scalp so clean & my hair smell so nice! Yuri does some excellent blow drying and styled my hair so nicely. It was one of the best blow dry & styling of my hair so far. Excellent service & the japanese salon was very clean & stylish. Will come back to get a hair cut here!

I had the Essential head spa treatment with Hana this week it was something I’d wanted to try for sometime! Hana came in early to squeeze me in before my flight home and the treatment didn’t disappoint! The reclining chair was super comfortable and Hana was very attentive and did a super thorough job! It was so relaxing and my hair and scalp felt so clean and soft afterwards! Definitely recommend ☺️

I received an amazing Essential head massage from Gaby. I was so relaxed! Too relaxed in fact that I was trying to not fall asleep, as I was trying to feel every movement of her massage! I highly recommend a head spa massage to anyone who wants to relieve stress and tension, or just want to relax!

Just went today with a friend and it was amaaaazing. It was both of our first time doing a head spa and we loved it. very relaxing, we both almost fell asleep. All the products smelled so good and left my hair & scalp in beautiful condition. We had Gaby and Yuri who were both wonderful. 10/10!!

My first time having a head spa and it was other worldly in how relaxing it was. The atmosphere and service was so next level, everyone was so welcoming and they even gave me green tea and snacks while my hair was getting dried at the end. I highly recommend, the essential head spa service felt like it went on forever and like a reset for my scalp. <3

After doing some research for a head spa before travelling to NYC, I booked an appointment for a mio essential and a blow out afterwards. It takes a lot for me to forget things in my active brain and it’s very hard for me to relax. I’m always thinking about work and my to do list. I have never relaxed the way I did during my appointment at Mio. The head spa treatment was out of this world. The blowout afterwards was so beautifully done. I would travel to NYC just for this head treatment in the future.

This was the most relaxing experience I’ve ever had. Gaby was very skillful and provided an amazing service. If you struggle with migraines, I think this is a wonderful way to relieve tension. Can’t wait to return!
