Leo Thomas is not your run-of-the-mill, cookie-cutter corporate, shiny, sterile, digital salon where the people make you feel frumpy and they want your email, phone number & address for their computer system. On the contrary, you are invited to make yourself at home, help yourself to water, coffee or soda and absorb the scene; a scene which is extremely unique, eccentric and fascinating to behold. Here you will find an interesting & laid-back atmosphere with a notebook & pen for appointments and a friendly, real life woman to greet you - reminds me of going to your cool aunt's house :) Holly runs her business in a person-to-person way and backs everything up with years of REAL experience in all areas of beauty. She cares about people, she loves what she does. She is very talented and knowledgeable. I wanted a loose perm for my waist length hair that wasn't tight and uniform, and I didn't want to look like a poodle for 2 months, but I also wanted it to last more than 2 weeks (which is a lot to ask, I know) I was told by many other salons around town that rollers were a thing of the past and that tubes are likely the only option. Well, not at Leo Thomas -- Holly rolled my hair and it turned out PERFECT. Just exactly what I was hoping for! My 21 year old daughter who came with me said she will come here the next time she wants a color or perm for her long hair as well. I also found out that Holly offers princess parties, which you can see would be so very cool & fun for a group of little girls - there is a limo rental - and even wigs! This is a kid-friendly establishment, too, with very reasonable prices. I would recommend...

Holly is the best! My kids and I have been going there for close to 15 years. So good and so reasonable. No wasting your time either. Highly recommend!

Holly did an incredible job on my hair. I’ve wanted fringe bangs forever, but have always been told my cowlick will interfere and when I insist, they get cut unevenly and look ridiculous. Not only was Holly able to style and cut them perfectly, but she also offered advice on how to make them more manageable on my own, without pushing a bunch of products. The atmosphere was relaxed, prices are the best in town for great quality and skill, and the owner is very down to earth. It was the best salon experience I’ve had yet and I look forward to future visits as it’s definitely my go to from now on.
