I got my hair cut by Terra a few weeks ago and it was easily one of the best haircut experiences. As someone who has extremely wavy and kind of curly hair, traditional cutting methods do not always work. Terra understood this and worked magic. I usually don’t review things and this happened almost a year ago but I hope this helps someone else because this was the most atrocious hair cut I ever got in my life. I asked for bangs (I showed the lady the photo of my mom I attached). She said it would be no problem but clearly didn’t know what she was doing and hacked at my hair for awhile and seemed unfocused. I don’t remember her name, but she mentioned going to cosmetology school in Idaho I believe. The bangs came out horribly uneven and she gave me some completely disconnected layers in the front. It looked absolutely nothing like the photo I showed. I tried to wear hairstyles to hide it before finally going to a great clips in my hometown where the guy gave me a total change in hairstyle to fix it and he said I had been totally screwed. So, yeah, don’t get your hair cut here. If you need proof i am sharing some of the ugliest photos there are of me 🙃

I’m new in town and was looking for a local salon for a much needed hair refresh. After reading tons of reviews I booked with Mallory at Hera and I’m so glad I did! She took time before the cut to understand my hair “story” and desired level of maintenance and daily styling. After finishing the cut she dried my hair and checked in again to ensure it was perfect. We ended up going a little shorter and Mallory was so patient and determined to get me the exact cut I wanted. The result is exactly what I’d hoped for and I feel amazing!

So many amazing stylists focused with great onboarding, ongoing training, and they support each other to achieve great results. They have all types of clients, including kids. They offer many other services, which have all been great as well!

The entire team is so friendly , and accommodating! I’ve had to reschedule appointments in the past and they are always so great about helping out with rescheduling! The atmosphere is fun and upbeat and I always walk out feeling pampered and beautiful!! I’ve been a regular at Hera for 5 yrs and have been to the second location Solar many times as well! Best salon in BZN!

I had my hair done by Katie for the first time and I am so happy with the results! I have really thick, blonde hair and she was able to give me the most beautiful balayage color and cut. It’s hard to find someone who can tone blonde hair correctly and blend the roots without leaving any demarcation lines. She nailed it! If you have blonde hair, I highly recommend going to Katie. Not only is she talented with hair, but she is also so sweet and fun to talk to. I have also had my hair done by Korey and she is amazing with blondes as well. Honestly, I would trust any of the ladies at Hera to do my hair. The salon has a very chill environment and there is always parking right out front which is a plus.
