Elaina & Mandy have been helping me grow out my natural nails. Their knowledge and level of expertise is something that I have not experienced at other salons or spas. Since seeing them, my nails have grown and are stronger than ever. I received a facial and wax from Ashley as well. Ashley made sure to explain what she was doing before proceeding and educated me on what products will work best on my skin. She left me with soft & supple skin as well as product to use at home. GM Collin is a game changer and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to change their skin care regimen or switch to more natural skincare.

I recently visited Head Case, a new organic and fully sustainable hair salon, spa and barbershop in the heart of the River Market, and I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience. It’s about time KC had a salon and spa like this! The space is modern, and has a clean aesthetic that creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a spa day or a hair makeover. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted promptly and immediately taken into a thorough consultation. I shared my hair concerns, and my stylist, Dominique, took the time to listen carefully before recommending a personalized plan. As my color processed, I was given a tour of the space and discovered that Head Case offers a wide range of services, including nail care, pedicures, waxing, facials, men’s grooming services and even kids cuts. Plus, I saw the area where an exciting new head spa, launching soon, will be. (I’ll definitely be back for that!) Dominique did an absolutely amazing job with my hair. From color to toning, cutting layers to add volume to my thinning hair, and finishing with a flawless blowout, every detail was handled with care and precision. I had the best experience today at the new Head Case Hair Studio in the River Market. Dominique did an amazing job on my cut and color. I love the non-toxic hair color (it doesn’t even smell) and clean products that were used. I followed this with a pedicure and my feet look and feel fabulous! I would highly recommend visiting no matter where you live in the KC Metro it is worth it. I plan to head back next week after they start offering head spas.

I am thoroughly impressed with this salon to say the least!!! The vibe is top tier and the aesthetic is absolutely beautiful. They were all so nice and welcoming immediately upon walking in. I love that they use all clean products in their salon. This was my first experience having hair colored without chemicals. I was so impressed. There was zero Chemical smell and the results were phenomenal. Nicole was my stylist and she is amazing!!! She is extremely talented and her work definitely showed that. She really listened and made sure she understood what I envision for my cut and color. To say that she nailed it would be an understatement. I was also extremely impressed with the styling products they use. I wasn't sure if the results of the styling products would be as good as the ones I normally use. I was thoroughly impressed with how amazing they were. They smelled so good and were even better than the non-organic styling products I use at home. I am looking forward to my next visit and highly recommend Head Case Hair Studio KC and Nicole!!!

1000000/10 recommend!!! If I could give more stars I would! From the moment I walked in I was greeted with positivity and kindness from the receptionist. I originally came in for a consult because I was curious and looking for a new stylist as I felt in the past I wasn’t listen to. Josh was my stylist and he is absolutely amazing! He knows what he is talking about and made me feel so comfortable in the consultation. I ended up getting a haircut and I LOVE IT!!! If you’re looking for a new hair salon, this is your place!!!!! Can’t wait for my next appointment!

Nicole has done my hair for some time and when she said was starting here of course I had to come and check it out. I’m impressed!! The salon is beautifully located in the heart of the River Market and is so aesthetically pleasing. It’s all so gorgeous! The staff is super friendly. If you want great hair without the chemicals, and cruelty free products then this your new place. ✨💕

My first visit to Head Case blew all of my expectations out of the water. Walking in I was immediately greeted by the lovely staff and offered a delicious cranberry mimosa. As always, Nicole Z knew what I wanted and produced beautiful results. Head Case uses products that are PPD free with low chemicals. Nicole was very knowledgeable about the product and explained it well to me. The salon has ZERO chemical smell and my hair feels amazing after my visit. The space is absolutely beautiful. It is simple yet modern. Location, location, location! I loved sitting in the chair and watching the street car go by (KC born and raised so downtown progress excites me). I can’t wait for Spring so I can have a day of pampering at the salon and then visit the City Market that is steps away from Head Case. There is ample parking available for free or very low cost. I am looking forward to my next visit in 6 weeks. Seeing the growth of this new business will be exciting. Check them out, you won’t regret it.
