Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, however after multiple unsuccessful attempts to connect with the manager and being told that she is “ in a meeting,” I am now resorting to leaving a review in the hopes that other people will not experience what I have. I had scheduled a one hour massage and when I got there my massage therapist was running late. I waited for her to arrive and they assured me it would not cut into my massage time and I would still get the full amount. When she arrived she apologized for being late and we proceeded with the massage. I had requested my back and feet to be focused on, however those areas were skimmed over and the majority of the time was worked on my arms. On top of that the AC was not on and the room was hot and the lack of airflow was not relaxing. The therapist did attempt to address the issue using a fan, however it wasn’t much help. When she was done I noticed she had not completed the proper amount of time for the massage. It felt like more time was allowed for reviewing the paper work I turned in prior to the massage and dressing time both prior and after. I addressed this with the front desk, which I felt was brushed off. I also felt pressured with my rating that they requested following the services as my massage therapist was standing right there. As I went to leave a tip for my $79 massage, I saw that the predetermined 20% was listed as $28, which is approximately 35%. I addressed this with the front desk and they did not understand this issue. After sharing my experience with multiple friends they encouraged me to reach out to a manager. At this time I was hoping to inform the manager that she may want to talk to her staff about a few issues. I would also like to note they are a younger staff and could use some guidance with professionalism. I called and left a message with front desk and requested to speak to the manager. I was told Sarah, the manager was in a meeting. I called multiple times after that and got the same response. On the third day with two attempts in one day, I asked how long the meetings are as I was told that answer earlier that day. His response was, “If this is regarding your service on Saturday, she will call you when the meeting is over, keep your phone close and be prepared to answer it.” I assured him my phone is always with me and I am expecting her phone call. Two days later and I still have not received a call on this issue. The massage was on Saturday and it is now Friday and I have been put off multiple times. The manager, Sarah, seems to be aware of the issue and at this time seems to be refusing to address it. At this point is seams the primary problem is with management as there appears to be a lack of guidance with staff and ownership of poor services on the manager side.

Goodyear location - Lindsey is exceptional this is my second visit today; my first visit she we did a microdermrasion with brighter. All I can say is WOW! My skin was so soft and bright, I didn't need a filter when I took my picture. Lindsey is a MUST HAVE 👏

If I could do zero stars I would. I cancelled my membership via their “required to come in a sign a laminated piece of paper.” They continued to charge me for months, at which I called several times. They told me to come in and see the manager, whom was never available. They essentially stole $700 from me, and told me, well I’m welcome to give away the massages as gifts to friends so they can keep my money. Money stolen, manager did not take accountability. Literal theft.

Amanda is attentive and very experienced. She’s extremely good at targeting and modifying according to your needs. Highly recommend her for any type of massage. The facilities are always clean, welcoming with great customer service all around!

Leanne is amazing. She listens to what issues you have and definitely makes you feel better. I reluctantly (because I don’t want her to be too busy for me, lol) absolutely recommend seeing her! I also highly recommend the gliding cupping!

When you go ask for Amanda and you won’t be disappointed! I had gone 2 times prior and the massages were okay and good but today Amanda was GREAT. I asked her to be more firm since i have some neck and back knots and tension and she did an amazing job. She made the massage relaxing while still applying enough pressure to relieve those painful area. I am sad to be moving at the end of the month as soon as i found the perfect masseuse. 10/10 would reccomend Amanda to anybody.

Athziri is the best masssage therapist I have had. I’ve been getting massages for 15 years. She pays attention to what areas you want focused on and just seems to care about who she is helping. She gives you great advice at the end of the massage on things that can help. Highly recommend her!

Hand and Stone was a recommendation and given to me as a birthday gift. I started with a wonderful massage with two kinds of hot stones. Which I would recommend. That was followed up with a now skin glowing facial performed by Lindsey K. Aside from the awesome service received, the bathroom sinks could use a an upgrade.
