Just had my first massage with Hannah and oh my word do I wish I would have done this sooner!! She is AMAZING!! This was 2 years overdue and already feel less back pain. Hallelujah!! 🙌🏻 Lily at the front desk was so lovely and made the process run so smoothly. I just signed up for a membership because my 36 year-old old lady back hasn’t felt this much relief in a long time. Five stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have been going to Hand & Stone in Liberty since December and have nothing but positive experiences! The facials and massage sessions leave me feeling relaxed and energized! Just had my first visit to the spa and all I can say is the service is impeccable. Immediately as I walked in I was greeted with smiles and great customer service. The front desk attendant Lily was professional and personable and was able to take care of me seamlessly. The massage was wonderful and I am simply astounded at the professionalism by each employee. I was made aware of all membership opportunities and let’s just say I will definitely be coming back and a membership is just what I need. I also had the pleasure of speaking with the manager and they did not disappoint exuding the same customer service as their employees. Overall 5 out 5 in all categories.

I was gifted a 160 dollar gift card for a Himalayan stone massage. On the website when you book it says the price for an introductory Himalayan massage was much cheaper but they would not honor that part since I was using a gift card despite it being the first time I’d gone there. I had some add ons as well including cold stone facial, hand and foot therapy. They did not disclose that the add ons took away from my hour massage and were not in fact add ons like I was anticipating. IE getting the hr massage then extra time for the hand therapy, extra time for the facial and extra time for the foot therapy. So ultimately I paid 160 dollars for less than 30 min of a massage and then 75 for the add ons!!! The scheduler who I spoke with the day prior told me I’d get the introductory massage price and the rest of my gift card could be used for the add ons which should have made my bill 30 dollars. Much much different! Also, the week prior on my bday, I had scheduled a massage and after confirming the appt online and making arrangements for my daughter, the place called me to cancel. The massage therapist I had was very sweet and did a great job, but every thing else was not worth it.

Services were decent but good luck cancelling your membership. We stopped by the spa to cancel, signed the cancellation form in person and were told we had one final payment due the following month but there was nothing else needed on our end. Done! However, 6 months later we realized they were still charging us. We went back to Liberty location, where they told us even though we signed the cancellation form in person and they confirmed our membership was cancelled, they also emailed us a second form that we had to sign. Since we missed the email and didn’t return the second form, we weren’t actually cancelled. So sign up at your own risk, and if you go in person to cancel, get copies of the cancellation form and maybe even record the entire interaction for future reference. And if you mention disputing the charges, they will threaten to ban you FOREVER! But don’t bother, we have no interest in coming back.

I apologize in advance to the readers for this lengthy review, but I have had multiple issues with this location. Initially, I had been given a gift Card and was OK with the service that I received. I decided to buy a membership for a monthly massage and or facial. At the beginning of summer 2024 I am a teacher at a preschool and do not work in the summer so I had requested that my account be frozen, which they happily accommodated. When I went back to unfreeze my account, I was then told that I didn’t have to do a monthly membership but could do every other month which fit my budget much better. I agree to that and the next month I was billed which I expected but Within a couple of months I was billed every month. When I called to find out why I was told by the manager bimonthly payment was no longer available. I asked why no one called to tell me that they were going to be taking it out of my account every month. I am on a fixed income and was not expecting a double bill. After arguing with her for a lengthy amount of time, I told her just cancel my membership and refund the month that you billed me that you weren’t supposed to. Initially, she did not want to do that, but I insisted and I did get the over bill credited to my account. I believe I paid two months was the agreement so I had two months of service on my Account. I canceled my account in November. I had the two months and no one told me that I had 90 days to use these two months of services. I called last week to make an appointment and they told me the service I was requesting was around $50 but they would have to take the whole 70 or $75 which I thought was strange. So today I called because I had double booked myself and was not able to make my appointment so called to cancel. At that time I asked them how long do I have to use the two months I have prepaid. It was then that they told me they had already expired. I was of course, not happy about this and wanted to know why I was not told and as usual well we can’t do anything about it. So after thinking about it, I called back and told them I had an appointment next week if I didn’t have the time or the balance why didn’t someone tell me. I was an informed that whoever is booking the appointment doesn’t look to see that. I have never had this type of service or problems from any kind of service. I was told I would go on the managers log and that they would get back to me. I am not putting the manager’s name in my review, but when I contact their corporate office, they will know. And when I get their standard reply of please contact us so we can work this out the only way to work it out is for them to refund my money because I want nothing to do with this company. Their communication is horrific. And nonexistent. It may just be this location. I will say the Massage that I had was good and unfortunately, I cannot remember the young ladies name. The facial I received the first time was just OK. Stay away from this business. UPDATE. The response I received from the Spa was incorrect. When I went up to unfreeze my account, I was there in person when the young lady I was working with told me I could go bi- monthly and I said great. Never was I asked to sign a new contract. The manager Katie is the person I spoke to this morning and she did not have the facts and I feel was trying to cover herself and her employee. I am very unhappy with this customer service I received from her and would not recommend this business to anyone. And Katie just so you know it is not September 2025 we are still in February. You seem to have a problem with getting your facts straight

Hands down a great place for a facial! They were able to book my service on short notice. The receptionists greeted me when I walked in. They got me checked in quickly and then my ESTI (Haley) came out from the back and introduced herself before walking me back into my room. Haley explained the process before getting started. She asked about my concerns and provided the best solution. It was definitely a relaxing experience and my face was glowing when she was done. Upon leaving the treatment room, the manager (Caty) asked about my experience. But it did not end there. I had several questions regarding the Dermalogica line and my ESTI came back out front, answered all my questions and I left with a simple skincare routine. The place was clean, refreshing and organized. Very welcoming! I would book more often if I didn’t live out of state. I will be returning any chance I get!
