Had such an amazing experience here. My scalp was SHINED after the treatment. The staff are helpful, friendly, and efficient! It was the best 1hr15mins I ever spent. Based on the condition of my scalp and as a first timer, she recommended the intermediate head care. So though you may schedule a specific treatment, it’s all based on the condition of your scalp. I hope they open up a more locations around the bay, but regardless I will definitely be coming back!!!

Visited H2O Head Care with my mom for the first time, and we both loved it! It's a fantastic place to relax. Eva was so wonderful during my appointment! I had to reschedule due to work and they were very understanding. She asked me a few questions about my scalp before recommending the Chinese herbal special due to the scalp itchiness I told her about. She gave me a full body massage and looked at my scalp up close on their microscope camera. She showed me the buildup she was talking about and the parts of my scalp that didn't have as much buildup. She manually scrubbed the dandruff and dry skin on my scalp which was so relaxing!!! She also used color safe shampoo and tailored products for my hair mask. Finished with a great blowdry and great service!!!

Terrible service, wouldn’t recommend. I got the expert package which was supposed to include a body massage and a facial in addition to the hair care service. As someone who gets massages regularly at other places around the bay for chronic pain, I was excited for this experience. Unfortunately none of the staff is trained on body massages at all. They just rubbed oil on my back and arms for 30 minutes and called it a “massage”. When I expressed that I wanted an actual massage with more pressure, the person got visibly frustrated and just left the room without an explanation. Then a new person came in and started doing the same thing on my back. I felt really uncomfortable by a new person abruptly coming in without any introduction and starting to touch my back, while I can’t see anything because I am lying on my stomach. The staff was very rude when I tried to express my concerns with the experience, telling me to “go complain to the boss because that’s how they were trained by the boss.” Not only was “the boss” not there at the time, I was also so surprised to hear that they were getting trained on how to massage people from their manager. I expected the staff to be professionally trained and licensed for these services that they are offering to customers. Then for the hair/scalp portion, they scratched my scalp so hard that it was painful and extremely sensitive at the end of it. And the water temperature kept fluctuating between really hot and really cold, leaving my body feeling super cold during it. Then they entirely skipped the facial because I had asked for a longer massage. I can’t speak to how their facials are. On top of all of this, the room I was in was pretty dirty. I saw big chunks of hair (not mine) on the floor when I walked in. Left feeling like I didn’t get the services I paid for, and no one to address to my concerns to. Will not be going back.

I came in for a deep clean scalp treatment because I had a massive buildup of dandruff from postpartum hormones and was seen by Nina. I left feeling so much lighter and wished I came by sooner because my itching was pretty intense prior to visiting. My treatment included a light massage, and I was able to see the before and after views from the camera scope. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience. I was going to a different head spa in Burlingame but I was looking for something a bit different so I wanted to try this place. Amazing service, staff was so nice and very thorough in explaining every step during my appointment. Love the variety of services. Will definitely come again.

I live in the East Bay, but today I had something to do in San Francisco. When I passed by Burlingame, I immediately called to make an appointment. I was very lucky today and was able to get a service. I only had to wait for half an hour. They only accept appointments. The lady that help me wash my head was very professional. she checked my scalp and did a deep cleansing. After an hour, I felt very comfortable. I am grateful to their professional team.

Judy is very caring and kind. I really appreciate how much she cared about my daughter. Eva did a Great Job on my scalp. My scalp is clean and my hair is soft. Thank you, both.
