I recently had a wonderful head spa experience with my boyfriend, and it was incredibly relaxing. The spa offered several treatments, including a variety of luxurious shampoos, all tailored to give us the best experience. They took special care with my curly hair, managing it as best as they could without any rush, which I truly appreciated. The atmosphere was peaceful, and I felt pampered throughout the session. One thing to note is that they don't style the hair afterward, which wasn't an issue for me, but something to keep in mind if you're expecting a finished look. The only downside was that the final treatments (red light, oxygen therapy etc) were done in an open area where others could see, and I feel an eye mask would have made the experience a bit more private and relaxing. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and treat themselves!

Very thankful for the lady who completed my service. Her name was Sue and she was literally the best. She was super gentle with my scalp and her massage felt amazing. I was really relaxed during the whole experience. I have back problems and she noticed I kept moving around a lot and told the other employee to get me a pillow ,which helped out a lot. I did the 90 min scalp therapy and my hair felt amazing ; which lasted about 3 days with no oil accumulating. My experience was great and I would come back, but only with Sue. Only reason I removed one star was because one of my friends had a really rough employee and seemed to not care if they are uncomfortable or in pain from how rough she was. This location is small and doesn't look like the one they usually show on IG and everything is really close together and just divided by curtains. Once again, Sue was great and would love to have her take care of me again at this location.

My experience at Guifei Spa when I visited during my vacation was truly amazing! As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a calming atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The spa’s Asian-inspired design had its own unique charm. The staff was welcoming and professional, making sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. I opted for the Signature Scalp Treatment, and it was absolutely amazing. The therapist was attentive, focusing on my problem areas with just the right pressure. The treatment left me feeling incredibly refreshed and soothed. If you’re looking for a high-quality, spa experience, Guifei Spa is definitely the place to go!

I came here because I heard good things about it on tiktok, but was unfortunately let down by my experience. I arrived to my appointment and was promptly taken to the back where the head massage would take place. There was almost no wait time which I appreciate. The ambiance of the room seemed relaxing at first with dim lights and relaxing music, until there was constant conversation between employees in the same room which ruined the relaxing ambiance and made it annoying. Maybe I misunderstood what the head massage comes with, but as others have mentioned, it’s mostly hair washing with only about 15 minutes of massage. The lady taking care of me was very rough on my scalp. I did not say anything in the beginning since I thought it would only be for a few minutes, but the same roughness was used throughout. I could have spoken up to fix this, but I did not. However, such roughness on the scalp should not be the norm. The small massage portion in my scalp, neck and shoulders was nice. I wish it lasted longer. Towards the end, there was light scalp massaging with a few tools which I wish lasted longer. The service was finished with hair drying, hair oil and a view of my clean scalp. My hair looked and felt very clean, I was surprised. I don’t dry my hair because it gets frizzy so I had to get it wet again and apply my own cream afterwards. I opted to dry it there since it was cold outside, so let them know if you do not want your hair dried beforehand. Before I left, there were some issues with tipping through zelle which I'm sure is not their fault, but made the experience less favorable given how I felt about the massage service. The customer service also could be improved. Overall, I cannot recommend this place and I would not return. The cons far outweigh the pros. I am very happy with how clean my scalp is though! It smells great. In summary: Pros: - Almost no wait time - short massage portion was nice - leaves your scalp very clean and smelling great Cons: - very rough on the scalp - rough when brushing hair - massage portion only lasts 15 minutes - it is mostly hair washing - environment can become noisy due to constant conversations and was not relaxing for me at all - hair drying at the end may not be suitable for all hair types so one may need to opt out

The hour for signature hair scalp massage was very worth it! It was comfortable and they did a great job in massaging my scalp and shoulders and making sure I was ok. The space was clean and they were able to accommodate having me with my girlfriend at the same time in our own private room together. Highly recommend. My hair is softer after and they had even products for curly hair after too. Give them a call and they spoke English and Chinese

Absolutely amazing! I went with my mom as a gift for her birthday and it was the best decision ever. Both of our ladies were super kind and did an amazing job on the both of us. We both left happy and with our hair sooo clean and soft. I totally recommend if you haven’t tried and we will definitely be coming back!

Bad experience. I booked a one-hour herbal head treatment for $78. About 30 minutes of it was spent on hair washing, only about 15 minutes in total were massaging the head, neck, shoulders, and arms. The session ended in 45 minutes, and the remaining 15 minutes were spent casually blow-drying my hair and doing a so-called scalp analysis. I spent $78, of which $20 went towards blow-drying my hair. There was hardly any massage, and it didn’t feel like a treatment at all—just a hair wash. At this price, I could get a full one-hour head massage at any massage shop in Flushing or even Manhattan. After the session, the only thing I felt was that my hair was clean. I didn’t feel relaxed at all.

Definitely a “treat yourself” place. I went in a little skeptical of how relaxing a hair wash could be and emerged thoroughly relaxed and ready for a nap. It was so much more than a hair wash and I loved the steam session with the hood. My hair also had more volume than usual and my scalp felt super clean.
